Bio Photo I live at Mott's Crossroads, SC, 2 miles north of Olanta. I find myself searching for too many of the unknowns in my family and connecting Mott/Truluck/Hill families of the area. Involvement in FAG has opened other avenues, and if I can help, or if you can offer help, consider me there.

The reason I put him where he is because of the obit. There is not a clear, stated cemet. in the obit. There are photos there. Please letme know where he should be and the reasoning.

I appreciate your help!

Terrific, Don! That's what this is all about, isn't it. Glad to hear of the connection.

Don,

Thanks for adding the middle name to Mrs. Floyd's memorial. It is perfect!

Giles Carter and son JJ Carter?
Hello,

I'm looking for a photo or location of the graves of Giles Carter (approx 1750-1850) and his son John James (James John, or JJ) Carter.

I have the following anecdotal information:

"Giles tombstone is in the soy bean fields behind the old Copeland home near the crossroads at Cartersville. Several members of his family are with him there."

Also

"The gravesites of Giles Carter and James John Carter are located near Carter's Crossroads, SC. These cemeteries can only be reached by walking across fields."

Any information you can supply is appreciated!
