Unfortunately, I declined your edit indicating he was born in Maine. When I was adding individuals of Hispanic origin to Smith Mountain, I found a large number were listed as being born in Maine by the California Death Index. While it is possible some of them were born in Maine, it's more than likely most of them were born in Mexico. It's probably a processing error.

Thanks for all your hard work at Smith Mountain.

Absolutely not you did all the work by creating my cousins memorial, of which we are truly grateful, so you should maintain it.
Warm Regards,
Manuel Hernandez Sr.

You're welcome! But it was an accident. I was photographing a nearby headstone and recognized her name from my Ancestry tree, so I took her headstone photograph too. I just put up all the photos that weren't already there, and didn't find out about your request until after I posted the photo. At any rate, though, I'm happy that my photo helped someone! All the best.

You have a good point, Harry.

I have all kinds of emails to Find A Grave about copying obits and photos in obits.

There is so much rule breaking, that their final word to me was, do what you want. If the copyright holder contacts Find A Grave, then take it down. I've saved this email from them.

I'm not trying to pad my memorials like many people do. I just think the memorials should contain an obit for family reasons and family history.

When I send you an obit, I think you should use what you want of it; not the whole thing, if you object.

I just think it's wrong to have a bare memorial, if there is something you can put in it.

Fort Hill photo requests
Hi Henry, I have plot/grid maps of all the sections at Fort Hill and would be glad to take care of your photo requests if you would contact the office for exact locations for your requests.
