I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Jamestowne Society, Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, the National Huguenot Society, and the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century. I just love researching family histories. I taught Jr. High English in the public schools for fourteen years. I was an Elementary Counselor and a librarian for fifteen years. |
I would love your contributions to the pages I've added. I especially want pictures of the people I have listed here. I am taking pictures of all the tombstones in my area in order to preserve family histories for future generations, especially those who wish to join DAR and other societies. I want to honor these people and truly wish for them to be "Gone but Not Forgotten." I want to create a page for each person with pictures and biographical information. My DAR webpage is at www.mssdar.org/noahcole.

If you call Glendale and get a plot number I would be happy to get a photo. I am currently on vacation but I go back to work Saturday.

Frances Catherine Ware Craddock had a 2nd husband. His name is John C. Popple. She is probably buried with him.

Sorry, I haven't found anything. There were several Vestal families in the area. Some of them moved west. I think she is buried at Fall Creek. She and Alexander were some of the founders of that church. I was hoping to come across some land records for her, but haven't found anything to date.

Always glad to help. I'm also related to the Vestal's through Alexander - Sanford Miller - Gordon - Mamie. Diane MacCormack

Hi Linda, My name is Dianne Gale O'Neal. My father was Ovie Gale. And my mother was Catherine Willis Gale. I am related to the Gale/Morgan/Barton/Cole and Willis families. My Grandmother was Stella Ann Morgan. One of Stella's sisters married a Cole and another sister married a Barton. I was wondering if you was related in any way. Thank you for taking care of some of the family. So they will not be lost or forgotten. If you would like. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or look me up on Facebook. Dianne O'Neal in Kansas City, Missouri. I have only been researching the family history for 3 or 4 months. Right now I am mostly working on the Gale side. Have a great evening. Take care. Sincerely, Dianne

Thanks Linda. Sorry to be so late, I've been dealing with mom in the hospital and nursing center. (We broke her out yesterday!!) Maybe I can get back to a more normal routine now.
I was wondering if you have access to any obituary or you just happened to have some. I noticed you sent several to Diane. I'm looking for a few with no success & thought if you saw fit, could help me out. If not, no problem.
Plz let me hear from you,
