No Response
If after 30 days you get no response to a suggested correction or to a transfer request, consider that these contributors might be dead and forward your request to edit@findagrave.com

Photo Use
For HEADSTONE photo only, if these contributors took the photo, you may use it for any good family purpose, with no need to "credit" us. If this contributor uploaded the photo but did NOT take the photo, the caption will note that it was added with permission from someone else. That permission does not transfer to another.

Photo Volunteer
A photo volunteer is someone who is willing to take photos of headstones at their expense. Find A Grave does not allow photo volunteers to charge money for their services. If you would like to request a headstone photo of a memorial, just go to the memorial on Find A Grave. Click on the 'Request A Photo' button. This will bring up a new screen allowing you to add any notes that may help the photo volunteer locate the grave location within the cemetery.

Effective immediately: THIS PHOTO VOLUNTEER WILL NO LONGER honor any notes for additional memorial photos for spouses, children etc when a memorial exists. Please submit a photo request for each headstone that you would like photographed. Also, we will no longer be searching for memorials that have unknown birth and death dates.

***Death is never the end of the story but the beginning of the journey.***

Thanks so much for taking and posting the photos of his gravestones. The date does look like 1857 but I had found 1867 somewhere else and it could not be 1857 since he served in the Civil War which hadn't started yet in 1857.

My grandmother let no one take her picture. So I had nothing for her page. And I do not live near Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, Illinois.

Thank you for the headstone pictures!

Thank you so much for taking and posting the photos of Israel, Sarah & Thomas Wickersham and the group of stones. Wow, Thomas's stone is really deteriorating. Glad you got a picture of it before the writing is totally gone!

Hope you have a great day!
