Bio and Links
Bio Photo My mother instilled in me an interest in genealogy for which I am very grateful. I am now retired and spend many hours on research, adding to the Find A Grave database, and taking photos in local cemeteries. I use the Henderson County Cemetery Book and Ancestry.com as resources.
Please use the edit option if you have changes or additions to memorials. If you are a relative of the deceased I will transfer the memorial.

Maggie sue Johnston 1930
Hi my name is Denise I live in Griffin Georgia . my dads mother died when he was only 3 . he has no memory of her. Ms Johnston is buried there we have never seen it until I saw it on the internet. I showed it to my dad who is now 87 and I could see the tears in his eyes. To accutally see the head stone is so amazing. His was separated from his other siblings and were raised by Maggie's sisters . His father Malcolm parker left them and we know nothing about that side of the family. I wanted to find out but on Maggie's obituary info. It just says spouse m a parker if you could help we would appreciate so much, I would really like to help him clear up some things while he s still here, we lost my mom in Dec. His wife of 64 years . thanks for anything you can do. dpwilson57@yahoo.com. her grave in Hendersonville north carolina

Tinsley, Hill, Jones & extended families
Thank you so much for being a part of Find A Grave. It is one of the more important genealogy friends we have. God Bless You for giving of your time and talents to helping others this way. For many years (since the early 90's) I have been on this journey. At first I visited many, many cemeteries. Now I am unable due to age and health. Because of you and others I can still visit them through Find A Grave. Thanks. I hope you will not mind my making copies of your photos for my Ancestry and Family Tree Maker family files.
Thank you again for giving to others through your work with Find A Grave.

Hi and thanks for putting a memorial page for him. I was wondering if you could link him to his second wife, Julia.

Justus connections
Thank you so very much for the work you are doing with Find A Grave. It is greatly appreciated. I am doing my extended family genealogies. My Mom and Dad had large family connections and I am trying to get it all on Ancestry thru my Family TreeMaker. Would you mind me copying your photos of the grave markers for my extended families that you have put on their memorials? I really appreciate your doing this. For those of us who cannot go to cemeteries anymore, it is really wonderful to have Find A Grave.
Thank you,
Eleanor Morrison Lawson

Just want to Know
Hello again. Would you please answer a question for me. As required by Find A Grave Rules, we can no longer scan obituaries to memorials. I now rewrite the obituaries in my own words, not verbatim and excluded any living persons, as required. Do you still want me to send obits this way. If you do not wish to enter such info, would you please let me know so I will not bother you anymore. According to Find A Grave Rules we can still scan death certificates, is it alright to add death certificates to your memorials? Thanks a regards.

This is my great-grandfather. He was definitely not born in Madison County. He was born in Henderson County, North Carolina. - Jennie Jones Giles
