Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native of Asheville, N.C. I'm a published author, re-enactor, historian and preservationist. I have been married to my wife since the year 2000. I enjoy gardening and exploring good restaurants, when I have time.
I came here to honor my ancestors by posting their final resting places on this registration site. Whenever possible, I also post any images or other documents that pertain to my kinfolk. It's not the quantity of memorials that matters to me...it's the quality that's important.
Since I have no children to pass this history down to, I am keeping my family tree online, so that others who follow me, will be able to learn about my family and the branches of my tree.
This ongoing project may never be completely finished, but I will leave this world knowing that I did what I could for my loved ones, in their new memorial home.

Jeff, thanks for taking the picture and posting it to her memorial. My mother was a Conley and this lady was a distant relative.

Thanks very much for taking the photo and adding it to his grave site. We were both raised in the area and went to school together.

RE: Waitsel Eafrome Ledford
Sorry it took me so long to see that there were two memorials for Waitsel Eafrome Ledford....looks like you may have already fixed the duplication! THANKS. Would you like for me to transfer Waits to you?
I'm not for sure about the name of the cemetery being wrong. Seeing as there are Burlesons and Burlisons buried there. I know having the name spelt different has made doing family tree research interesting. BTW, I found the name of the cemetery listed as Ledford-Burlison in the book 'Ivy Township Cemeteries' book. Are you of kin to Waitsel Eafrome Ledford? Just wondering if you knew how he got named. His name is very interesting!

Thank You Jeff. I am here as resource if you need me. Roy was my uncle and I loved Pauline so much, and miss them both deeply.

William Willis Memorial
Jeff, I believe this is the correct Sluder Cemetery for him because his father is buried here also. If your info is to the differ please share with me.
