Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Jamestowne Society, Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, the National Huguenot Society, and the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century. I just love researching family histories. I taught Jr. High English in the public schools for fourteen years. I was an Elementary Counselor and a librarian for fifteen years.

I would love your contributions to the pages I've added. I especially want pictures of the people I have listed here. I am taking pictures of all the tombstones in my area in order to preserve family histories for future generations, especially those who wish to join DAR and other societies. I want to honor these people and truly wish for them to be "Gone but Not Forgotten." I want to create a page for each person with pictures and biographical information. My DAR webpage is at www.mssdar.org/noahcole.

Hello cousin,
Hi Linda, thank you for adding the wonderful information about Elizabeth Savery Eddy to her memorial page! She's my 10th great grandmother, so we're cousins! If you're on ancesry.com I'd love to share family info with you. Thank you again for the information about our ancestor, it's so important to keep their memory alive isn't it?

I'm trying to catch up and I don't think that I thanked you properly for sending me the photo. Thank you so much for your kindness in doing it.

Please read my profile. ALL the data I have is entered on the original memorial.

PS - I am currently in the application process for the DAR, the Mayflower descendants, etc. I am related to two presidents - Jefferson and Monroe - and am working on my dad's ancestors which includes the nobility of France, Scotland, England, Holy Roman Empire, Constantinople, Palestine . . . Researching is fun isn't it! My dad's records go back to the year 550. I may not live long enough to get it all entered! Good luck with your search.

Thanks for the transfer. I only got to meet my Aunt once and that was while she was still living in Missouri on her farm. She was a colorful lady and one that I respected a lot. She and my Dad (her brother) once went on a "blind date" that friends had set up not realizing that they were brother and sister as they were raised by two separate families, McClish and Solomon. My dad told the story many times and said that they had the most fun because they knew they were siblings but their friends didn't.

Herbert and Noah Vestal
Thank you for the information on Herbert and Noah Vestal. My grandmother was their sister(Bessie). With all of the older generations of my family gone this is about the only way I have to trace this side of my family. Thank you again and also thanks for the obits you posted.
