I am a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Jamestowne Society, Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, the National Huguenot Society, and the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century. I just love researching family histories. I taught Jr. High English in the public schools for fourteen years. I was an Elementary Counselor and a librarian for fifteen years. |
I would love your contributions to the pages I've added. I especially want pictures of the people I have listed here. I am taking pictures of all the tombstones in my area in order to preserve family histories for future generations, especially those who wish to join DAR and other societies. I want to honor these people and truly wish for them to be "Gone but Not Forgotten." I want to create a page for each person with pictures and biographical information. My DAR webpage is at www.mssdar.org/noahcole.

|Linda Blanchard||Henry and Hattie Moberly|
Thanks for the photos of the grave of my greatgrandparents, Henry Moberly and Anna Morton Laidley Moberly (Hattie). You mentioned wishing that the memorials would be filled out with portraits of the people, so I have added one for each. I will see if I can add a few more. I should be able to add one for my grandfather Dale, at least.
Thanks for the work you're doing. I've been out to Bethel Cemetery twice in the last two decades, and it is beautiful there, but it sure can be hot work finding the graves!
|Sean R Stultz||John Edward Stultz 1840-1921|
I am a direct descendant of J.E. Stultz.
I have additional family members and am going to search the Find a Grave records to see if any of them are already registered.
I have info on siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents.
|D. DeClue G.||Francis DeClue, Find A Grave Memorial# 130901690.|
In his bio you show that the death certificate of his wife Sarah Ann Jackson DeClue, shows she died a widow in 1910.
Francis' brother Paul was also married to a Sarah Ann who died 1910. I have seen her death certificate on Ancestry and in Find A Grave.
I am hoping you can verify on the certificate you have seen for Sarah Ann DeClue if her husband is listed as Francis or Paul to ensure it is the correct Sarah Ann DeClue.
It can be confusing because both these Sarah Anns were raised in the same home. Sarah Ann Jackson DeClue's widowed father William married Sarah Ann Garret DeClue's widowed mother Mahala and the 2 girls then married brothers Francis and Paul DeClue (Duclos) and lived very near each other. Sarah and Francis were about 10+ years older than Sarah and Paul.

|William "Darrell" Hosey||William Archie Mehearg Memorial|
Thank you very much for creating the memorial for William Archie Mehearg. According to his death certificate, he died in Tyler Co., TX. I don't know how he ended up with a burial place in Missouri and being the only grave.
|Carol Kelley||Florence Obermark|
I have linked Florence to her parents. Thank you for the info!
