I find cemeteries oddly comforting, because I see them as filled with love. Every monument, every headstone, was selected by a mourning loved one. I even have a favorite cemetery: Mountain Home. I am a busy lady, but like to help when I can, and pay it forward to the next generation of family history sleuths.|

Found out that my great grandmother was sister to Carl Buhr. contacted bob holtz. Oh boy here I go again
Hi, I am still walking cemeteries in Niagara county New York. Just wanted to say Hello. I think about your family every time I walk thru trinity up here. I did that again today. God Bless
I didn't find either Anna or her husband either with the Payes or the Renauds. I located her father-in-law and one son with his wife and son. I can't turn up an obituary and neither she nor her husband are in the various cemetery databases. Have you tried contacting the church to make sure they are there?

I thought you might be interested in taking a new look at your GGGgrandfather's page. I just added a photo of him and one of his wife, Mahalia J. Miller (your GGGgrandmother?) to his memorial page. My grandmother, Frances Brockett McKenney was raised by her grandparents, Lewis Benton Brockett and his wife, Lucy Sweetser Fisk, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Addison and Lewis were brothers. I inherited my grandmother's collection of family pictures and Addison's photo was part of that collection. Hope you enjoy seeing him in his younger days!

For the first time since I have been doing all of this, I finally helped someone in a shared line of family. You have now idea how happy I am for you and myself. Lets find some more!

Hi there! I was out to Zion Cemetery today trying to fill your request for Andreas Ringle (1716-1769) and I couldn't find any Ringles anywhere.
I'm a bit concerned about this one, not only because I didn't find any other Ringles, but also because I didn't see any headstones in this cemetery that were anywhere near that old. Possible 1820s was the earliest I saw headstones there. Are you certain this is the correct cemetery?
I plan to go back soon to try and get a couple more photos, so I'll look around again, but if you find that Mr. Ringle is at a different area cemetery, let me know and I'll be happy to try and get a photograph for you.
Also, if this helps, there is a Whitehall, PA that is close to Allentown (in Eastern PA, Adams County). Maybe it's in the other Whitehall? Just a thought. I don't know if they have a Zion Cemetery though.
Good luck in your search!

No problem using any of my photo's on Find a Grave. I had taken that picture last year and checking thru my files, found that I hadn't logged it. When I did, I found you had already put in the bio info so was glad to be able to add the photo. You might also check the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery listing in Centre Hall, Pa. Last year I put in a number of Reish's and photo's of Reish gravestones.
