Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born in Pasadena, Ca., raised in the San Gabriel Valley East of Los Angeles. Moved to Portland, Oregon in 1989. Have been here since and love it! Veteran of Vietnam, Infantry with the 101st Airborne. My Father was a medic in WWII and I have relatives that were in the Civil War. It seems that every time someone throws a war my family gets invited!

I have been enjoying genealogy for thirty five years. It wasn't until the internet, that the doors swung wide open! I mostly enjoy the pioneer cemeteries, for the history.

I am more than happy to turn over any of my memorial pages to a family member that is yours. Please help me with any corrections on the entries that I have made. If you have anything that you want added to the memorial pages I created please let me know.

Bill

RE: Amos 'Milton' Wright
Bill - thanks! Make a recommendation and you got the whole thing :^) ---- I know the feeling.

I appreciate the feedback and the 'change', though I didn't expect it. It's just that back in that era middle names - especially for men - were almost unheard of. That, and no official documents to be found that would lead to a middle name, was my only basis for writing.

Related to Amos?

Amos 'Milton' Wright
Hello. Just found your site Find A Grave Memorial# 45709930 for Amos.

In my research of early documents I've been unable to find that Amos or any of Richard Wright Sr.'s 8 sons had middle names. [My ancestor, Richard Wright, Jr., is brother to this Amos.]

Could you please share with me where you found the information on a middle name for him? Any information appreciated.

Harry L. Getzendanner
Hi, Bill, I see you made the memorial for Harry L. Getzendanner. I know his wife's name was Cora Lee Reid and she died a few years before him. I was wondering if you had found her at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
