would you like to transfer Patsy Huckins #89841152 to me. She is my wifes grandmother. If not could you fix her name to Patsy Lee Huckins (Haley being her maiden name). You can also link her husband if you'd like (although he's not dead he is on the headstone). Kenneth Lavern Huckins born Dec 10, 1930. Up to you. Thank you.

and had to comment on your dancing tree bio photo. How delightful! It't rare that one sees such artistry amongst trees. Art deco for certain. You captured it well. I truly am impressed.
Hi Jan, wow! This is like an early Christmas present to see this transfer of Clifford's memorial to me so quickly! I do appreciate it, it will be well cared-for as his story is written and he is linked with his loving family. Have a blessed Thanksgiving! Helen

No problem....I have done MUCH worse...
Hi, again, Jan,
Thanks for your responce. Yes, this is confusing. But looking at the IOOF burial book, Chris Holland paid $6.25 for his SE 1/4 of block 127 (2 plots) on 4/15/95, which looks like he was an adult, and knew he was dying. They recorded the date, probably burial date but not sure, as 11 Dec 1895. I am still looking for his obit. No other information is listed in the IOOF book, and no funeral records are available prior to 1905.
Samuel Hoiland is listed in the IOOF book with the date of 11 Dec 1895, age 5, in block 243, purchased by Andrew Hoiland, with the deed signed Mar 1896 ($33 for 10 plots). Most of the other burials in that block are Hoilands.
It is a coincidence that the names are similar, and birth places and death dates the same. I'll look for an obit in the Oregon State Journal or the Register next time I'm at the Knight Library -- maybe I'll get lucky!
Interesting to note -- the person entering Samuel Hoiland in the IOOF book originally wrote "Chris" then crossed it out and wrote "Samuel A." above it. They were confused, too. Dorothy
