Damon Davis Jackson
I have a Riverview Cemetery index. I looked it over.
When you find somebody in it you start paging back and back until you find what section they are in. The book is set up so they put the section # on one page and then put everyone in that section on the following pages until you get to the next section and then they put the next section # on the first page of everyone in that next section.
I looked back and the first page you come to is section 3 from the page that Damon Jackson is on. Going back forward, the grave plot #'s keep getting higher and higher and higher until you come to the page that starts a new section then the #'s are small again and go up and up from there. I noticed that the #'s in section 3 go up and up until they get clear up into the plot 600 #'s and then all of a sudden they are very small again and somebody messed up. They did not put the usual note on that page where they should have put on the page where section 4 starts, they left that out, since going forward from the page that says section 3 the next page that indicates what section you are is section 5! That is where I messed up. I failed to notice that mistake in my index. That is good to know. I will make note of that in my index book so it does not happen again for me to think I am in the wrong section.

Alexander J.McDonald
Thank you for adding the photo to this memorial. That was quick!
Do you know if there are McDonald stones next to his. I know his wife was Ruth but don't have the dates.

Otho Cromwell Duryea
Hi! I am wondering if the grave marker that you show for Otho Duryea is only a memorial tablet. Do you know, or will the cemetery tell you, when he was actually buried there?

The reason that I am asking is that the Cook County, Illinois records show that he was buried at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois. I am hoping to go there (Oak Woods) in the next couple of weeks and see if there is a grave marker.

You can see the memorial that I created for him here:

Thank you for your assistance. Ace

Pearl Hoover Strain
Thank you for posting the tombstone of Pearl Hoover Strain #103569092. Would you please consider making the following change: Pearl is the daughter of Henry "Harry" Wetle. Hill Custer Hoover was her step-father. It is possible that Hill adopted her. Perhaps, it would be better to list her as Pearl Wetle Hoover Strain. Thank you,

Thanks so much for photos for George W. Groves. Have been trying to locate his burial site for a couple of years. He was our great uncle who moved west.

Terry Thompson
Elmer Templeton
My fellow researchers figured out the source of confusion on my earlier message of 15 May regarding Elmer Templeton, memorial number 98562658, possibly being the son of Electa Mark. Elmer Templeton is listed in the 1940 census directly under head of household Electa Margaret Mark. Elmer's relationship to the head of household is listed as "Son". The key though is that Electa and Elmer's addresses don't match. In actuality, Elmer's singular entry is 4 pages after the rest of his Templeton family living at address 7844. The head of family at 7844 is his father Bayard Templeton with mother Gertrude (Van Winkle) Templeton. Therefore not amongst the descendants I'm researching. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks so much for sending obituary information. I do have the article clipped. I'll think about it.
