I will be happy to transfer a memorial to a relative (most of the time, your husband's great aunt may be an issue, or your 6th greatgrandmother who you share with 645 other descendents). I also give you permission to use any photos I take for other geneological purposes, such as posting on ancestry.com, etc. You do not have permission, however, to use it on a duplicate entry that you made.
Just a note on photos: Pictures taken at the National Cemetery were taken during overcast days, which works better with my camera. Also, if you want to see a larger picture, click on the Photos tab at the memorial and you can read the enlarged one.
As another side note about photos, I took many photos straight on and found my reflection in many of them. I had to delete those and retake them. This is true for black, grey and sometimes red stones. That is why I take photos from an angle. Also, the pictures uploaded have to be 750 KB or less (600 x 800), so they are small. I don't clean the stones.

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
You should not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. Some obituaries that were published in 1922 or earlier are now in the public domain. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family with assistance from the funeral home. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007". Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.
Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave as the newspaper company owns that copyright.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

You are kind, but since the two memorials had numbers separated by 25, it is most probable that I did inadvertently create the duplicate that day.
|Ron Griffin||Helen Hohman|
Thank you for telling me about the duplication. I had no idea I had done that. I will delete the one which was less complete.
|Barbara Howard Pointer||RE: Roy James Perkins Jr.|
That is really weird. It should delete when you click on the delete button within the memorial.
Maybe you can try restoring his name, then deleting, if that's what you wanted to do.

Would you consider transferring memorial #149504368, Rosemary Veronica Behling Lutz (Sept 26, 1926 - March 1965). She is my relative and her children and I would appreciate the transfer. Thank you.
|Donna Blair||Washington Crossing National Cemetery|
Rebecca, thank you so much for the Willard O. LIBERTY transfer! .. and for taking care of the edits I sent. I've since added a photo & a short Bio. Will try to take good care of his memorial :)

News article added... Thanks for the updated info.
|Albert Ledoux||Sonman explosion victims|
With all due respect, the newspaper account you submitted for Joseph Holliday and John Inman is extremely long, and obviously not a biographical sketch of the deceased. That is why I have istead noted their fate as Sonman mine victims, and inserted relevant links.

You posted a grave for Rachel L Hellyer who I believe is my great grand mother. Received a message from the cemetery's caretaker today saying there is also a grave stone for her husband Levi on the plot. He did not have a burial record. Did you by any chance take a picture of Levi's stone? Having difficulty finding records relating to his life. I'm in Florida and can't get to the cemetary.
|jrc||Duplicate Eileen Muzslay memorials|
My aunt Eileen Judge Muzslay is listed twice,
one created by you - 149462954 (July 19, 2015) and on created July 4, 2008 contributed by Rev. Dr. Mary - memorial # 28027089. The one you listed has the tombstone that lists Eileen and her husband Martin. The memorial by Rev. Dr. Mary has the obit listed.
I am not a "subject" expert, I have added some family members and added photos but how does one "MERGE" two memorials?
I will leave it up to you to figure that one out, from the volume of your message history, it appears you are an expert.
Thanks for your time,
