RE: Kittie West Burns
We went back and I apologize. I always look around the area and backsides of standing headstones. This one I missed. I posted the photo on Kittie Burns' memorial.

RE: Clarissa Getten
Wish we had has a better outcome. There was a group of us there for the Find a Grave Community Day and three of us looked for her.

I could not see a day of death. The online death records for Vermont simply say Mar 1813 and the cemetery transcription done in the 1950's also just give the month and year. You might try historical newspapers and see if anything turns up.

I am pretty sure there was nothing on the back because we normally look BUT we will go back Sunday and look. It is very easy to get to. The tall crosses definitely stand out. Glad we claimed this request. It was a very interesting family especially about the car being buried or when the family sued the railroad for injury. That is what makes this hobby interesting.

Ray Albee
You suggested a middle name of Elbert for Ray. I will need to know the source of information and if I am able to access it I will be more than happy to add it. Thank you for your efforts.

RE: Estella Tourjee Grave
We scoured that lot two times. The Mary I have is the only one there that we could find. There was another Jeremiah Tourjee memorial. It was on one side of an obelisk. It said

Jeremiah H. Tourjee
late first lieut.
CO.A.2 R.I. VOL. INFT.
Born Nov. 22, 1843

He served his country through
the whole war from 1861-1865

Not sure if he belongs to you but I was impressed!

Estella Tourjee Grave
Hi! My fiance and I scoured the section of Elm Grove where Estella Tourjee was supposed to have been buried, with little success. Upon doing a smidge of research I THINK her real name was Mary Estella Tourgee. We went back today with this information and found the grave with Jeremiah and Mary Tourjee. Also listed on the grave were Peter, Mary, John and Priscilla. Jeremiah was born Dec 11, 1178 and died May 11, 1867 Mary, his wife, was born 1775 and died 1829. Not positive of Mary's dates but that's what it looks like to me. Let me know if this is the right people and I will post the photos after hearing from you. Hope this helps!!

regards-
Gail

Done. I believe when I posted the picture, I stated it was the only headstone that may be a match and to notify me if it was not.
