Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an attorney and court commissioner in Dodge County, Wisconsin. My lovely wife Julie and our kids Philip and Grace (and dog Howie) enjoy exploring cemeteries with me.

Like most of my fellow gravers, I do this to preserve the history of those who came before us and the often beautiful works of art that mark their final resting places - and to make the information more accessible to those who might be searching for it.

My information comes from a variety of sources, including older cemetery transcriptions done by others. Feel free to contact me with corrections, additional information, transfer requests, questions, etc. I'll be happy to help if I can.

Ms State Hospital
Hi Steve, I see someone has already given you the GPS coordinates you ask about. I just wanted to mention that I have been to the cemetery twice and had no trouble getting in. The guards were very nice and helpful. They did make a phone call to find out if we were allowed to take pictures. With their permission we were allowed to visit the cemetery alone and I took all the photos that have my name on them. Fran

RE: Mississippi State Hospital / Rose Hill Cemetery
I do not have GPS coordinates for this cemetery. However, using, I calculated the following:

Lat 32.245286

Long -90.082690

If you ever plan on visiting, be aware that the cemetery is not open to the general public. You will have to arrange an escort through Public Relations, Whitfield State Hospital, and they will get you through the guard station. Also, you will not be allowed to take photographs. A photographer on the hospital's staff took the photos I posted to Find A Grave. If I remember correctly, it has to do with HIPAA. --Bob

William Triplett
Hi Steve,
Would like to thank you most sincerely for the photo of William Tripletts grave stone, it was very kind of you to do this. He left Cornwall where our family is from in the 1840's and now has come home.
Bless you

RE: Jane Hughes Roberts
We are also looking for Jane's Mother, buried on Anglesey, a bit outside of the town of Beaumaris, which is also in the Parish of Beaumaris. Her Mother, named Jane, was John H Hughes' first wife. After having 4 children, she died. John H re-married, had 4 more children, and left with the surviving 7, and 2nd wife, for the US. Their first stop was Cambria, WI, where eldest daughter Jane married the preacher, The rest of the family went on to south central Minnesota.

Laura Carrie (LULL) & Moses BURK
Many thanks for taking the headstone photos for Laura & creating a memorial for Moses and then placing the photos on their respective memorials. I edited in their birth, death, locations and maiden names as needed.

RE: Williams Cemetery
I have a Welsh speaking Facebook Friend!

I realize these stones are ages old, but she has been able to make out many words from other photos of other stones!

It has been a great learning experience for all of us, to realize what people were saying then!
