I am unable to travel to different cities to search for gravesites of our relatives. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I found the Find a Grave website and all the wonderful, helpful people on it. I have found so many of our relatives listed and have had wonderful people that have been willing to search and take photos for us. |
If you would like to use one of my photos on your family tree, help yourself but please list me as the one that took it.
DO NOT use my hard work on another cemetery website or put your name as the contributor on one of my photos. That's just not fair or considerate.
If you have data that you would like for me to add to the memorials that I have created, please send it to me and I will update it as soon as possible.
I am posting memorials using the Find a Grave guidelines as I see them. If it is not to your liking, I'm sorry. I WILL NOT respond back to hateful and ranting messages. So don't bother to send them.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial that I have listed to a family member if they are not in my family's trees. Please be sure to add your member #, the person's ID number and your reason for wanting the transfer when making the request.
Please use the edit button at the top of memorial pages to make data corrections or additions. I'm sorry but emails without a memorial # will be deleted. I don't have the time to search out the internet to find who you are talking about.

I don't know what you want me to 'edit' after I go to the edit tab?

|Virginia Keys||John William Keys|
Lois, the picture that was added to the John William Keys Find a Grave page is not one of him. It is his brother, Joseph Monroe Keys, my husband's grandfather. In the family picture that this was taken from, someone misidentified Uncle John William and Grandpa Keys. John William sits to the far left of his father and Joseph sits to the far right of his mother.
I know that this is not your page, but you were identified as adding the picture, and I can't get in touch with the man in charge. Could you please change it. (I know it wasn't your mistake. I've seen this error in identificatiton a lot...and they don't even look alike!)

I am not giving up just yet. I am going to go to the chambers of commerce and see if they can help me find a volunteer group to clean up the cemetery so to speak. The biggest problem at this cemetery is the buried/half buried/fallen/cracked stones. I know it is usually the descendant (immediate family) that is supposed to take care of the stones but I think most of them either moved on or are now deceased.

Thank you!! That is very much appreciated. I am trying to get as many of the family linked as possible.
