Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began genealogy research in 1986. It's been a fun, exciting, stimulating, challenging experience with many strange and wonderful adventures, along with numerous twists and turns. I have met many wonderful people in the search for my ancestors. I have family who came West to Oregon Country on the Oregon Trail in 1843, 1852, and 1853. Some later migrated West by train. Some of the family lines I'm researching are: Bloyd, Brooks, Byron, Cox, Cullen, Darneille, DeCosta, Dixon, Graham, Gray, Hedick, Hempstead, Hilts, Janes, Johns, Larimore, McGee, Mee, Pleasants, Poteet, Rynbergen, Smith, Stafford, Willis & Young.

NOTE: If you contact me by personal message on this page about any of my memorials, pls mention the person's name, memorial number, and cemetery. Otherwise, don't be surprised if I don't respond. Likewise, if you contact me via email (preferred), pls give me the same data. In all cases, editing suggestions should be transmitted via Findagrave's usual procedure. Thank you.

Do you know where "Covington" name comes from? I have seen Nancy Butler Wood's mother as Ann Covington.

William Caskey headstone photo
I just wish it had come out better. It was overcast and the headstone was badly water stained etc. Those copper headstones don't always come out the best after a few years in the weather.

Hi J.D.
Did you know any of these people who have gone before. I want to thank you for doing this and sharing Albert Goins wife Lucy and her family.

denvil and Geneva Kimble
I am working on the siblings of Denvil Kimble, his brother George just passed away here in Oklahoma. I was linking the siblings to their parents the problem is You have Denvil and Geneva buried in Myrtle Creek 100F Cemetery with their obits but no gravestone photos. And R. Marion has a photo of the gravestone but no other details in Riddle Cemetery in the same county. So do you know for sure which cemetery they are actually buried at?

Ii'm not sure where else he's listed, but I spent months taking photos and listing people in the right cemetery.

I've replaced the grave photos on this memorial for ones that show the plaque with date of death.

I apologize for the error: the IOOF Cemetery is in Myrtle Creek, not Roseburg.
