|Bio and Links|
We love genealogy and recognize the importance of it. We treasure the little bits and pieces that we are able to glean from the smallest specs of information. We do our best to help others as others have helped us... however... |
Although it is our normal policy to attach memorials to those to whom know them best, we will no longer just randomly transfer memorials simply because they are in your genealogical tree. Findagrave is not a "collection" site. It is a Memorial site designed to honor those who've gone before us. We do not treat them as "property" to be traded or collected to increase your numbers and notoriety. If you have more data or biographical information, we will gladly verify and add it to the repective memorials and do any necessary linking to parents & spouses.
You can do this quite easily by clicking on the "Edit" tab at the upper right corner of the memorial. Once opened, you will see a "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" link. If you click on that link, a message box will appear that will allow you to send a message directly to the memorial creator who can then add the information as needed. You can easily check the box that will allow you to send a copy of each transmission to your own e-mail for your records as well.
If we have ownership of a memorial that you are related to, ask and we will either transfer ownership or may share accumulated information if you are closely related and can verify your relationship. If you'd like to use a photo for genealogical purposes that we have added... please just give credit where credit is due by referencing our ownership of the photo and where you located it. ~"Happy Hunting"
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

You are so very welcome! I am glad the information was readable even though the marker needs a good cleaning.
Glad to be of help!

Hi there- am posting a few pics of the marker for William. I actually set this up a few years ago, and his marker is hard to photograph with the sun and the black marker, but think I have a fairly good picture for you to see what his marker looks like. His marker is in a very old, section of the cemetery which is very hilly and on the north end of the cemetery. This area used to see many teens and young kids frequenting the huge Rucker Tomb above his marker, and vandalizing markers on the way down the hill and out of the cemetery. The cemetery is great now with security and vandalism has gone way down. I have a friend who helps out with photographs in this area, so we are partners in numbers to be safe!
i am very thankful the marker for William is there and am posting a few pics, and would love to send them to you. Please let me know if okay to send!
Cheers again from Everett area-

|Sheri Pope Tarman||RE: Haskins Burials - Chico Cemetery|
I have corrected the captions on Pricilla and Laura Haskins. Tomorrow I hope to photograph the headstone to the right of the large family marker.

My error. On the "master map" showing gravesites it simply lists P.A. Haskins and L. Haskins on their sites. I forgot that Priscilla's maiden name Tahl was listed.

Because it is a recent burial, the office thought a marker might be forth coming. I'll keep an eye out. Just a note, we are in our "rainy" season. Might take a while for all involved.

|Tami||RE: Wright family plot - Evergreen Cemetery|
Very exciting! Glad to hear many family is here, and I will, yes, look out for them. If there are any in particular you would like me to recheck, please let me know. There are 15 Schroeder's and 5 LeMoine's in Evergreen. We just added another LeMoine recently for David Allen, a 6 week old baby boy. Do you know parents to this David, by any chance? We know the age from the cemetery books that we are looking through for this project to photograph the cemetery. I am working with Lathy and LArry, and a few others, if you happen to notice their names on the memorials. They are dedicated to looking for families too. We are hoping to replace temp markers (like David's) with a permanent marker with dates, through grant $ some day. Any info you have on baby David would be most appreciated!
Please feel free to send me some first names of the families to look out for, if you would like.
Cheers from Washington!
PS - Cypress is just down the road from Evergreen. And Marysville is not far. I visit many cemeteries from there to here!

Hi there = I am at the cemetery often and will check on the Wright graves. The pics I posted are older (2011) and the markers may have been cleaned. We are trying to clean as often as we can.
I am willing to send you some pics from different views of the markers if you would like. Let me know!
Cheers from Edmonds, WA -

Thank you for your update information. I do not know the newspaper source or date of publication. A young lady in Oklahoma City sent the Obit information and said that she got if from the Oklahoma History Center archives in Oklahoma City. The original source may have been from the nearby town of Enid Oklahoma Newspaper. The Crandall, Meeks and Tyner were closely related in Waukomis.
Thanks again for your information and I am sorry that I couldn't be of more assistance.
