I have enjoyed genealogy for many years; very addictive. This web site is wonderful for a research tool. It is getting better all the time as people add more and more graves and the notes attached are very helpful. My main research is the Bucklands and Wingards but of course, this goes off onto many other branches.|

You are welcome, I appreciate your response.
The volunteers seem to do the old gravestones
first and there are not many left to do.
I live in Plymouth and would rather do the
old gravestones, but it seems there are none
left! I have gone to Hillcrest and done some
photography and a few memorials. I am currently
doing later burials from the 1900's at Manomet
Thank you for your honesty, and all the work
that you do for Find A Grave.

You sent me an edit to link my memorial
Albert C. Bradford #110910930, to his parents
Joseph W. Bradford 1825 - 1892 and Celia C.
(Walch) 1837 - 1907. You have created memorials
for them recently at Hillcrest Cemetery, Plympton,
MA. I do not find verification of Joseph W.
Bradford or his wife Celia C. Walch being buried
there. The transcriptions for this cemetery do
not list them. Celia's death record does indicate
that she is buried in Plympton but it does not
give the name of the cemetery. As far as I know
all the old burials at Hillcrest cemetery have
been added to Find A Grave and was surprised to
see you have recently added more.
I will not link my memorials to undocumented
burials, please inform me of your source of

Thank you for your message. After looking into VR and most importantly the Standish silver series pub. by The Mayflower Society it would appear he was indeed the son of Moses & Mary (Eddy) Standish. I have corrected his bio and linked him to his mother, also buried in the same cemetery. Jim

Thank you for the information about Dewitt and Maria Sloan. I had jumped to a conclusion that Dewitt's wife Marie was my Marie Oliver Winn Sloan. I have since found that Marie Winn moved back with her parents after her husbands death, but have yet to find when and to which Sloan she became married to in her second marriage.
I have removed all references to Dewitt Sloan from her memorial. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention-- Billy

Thank you for the information. I updated her memorial. The information has 2 ages and 2 dates of death but I included as much as I could. Thanks again.
|Mary Briggs||Huldah Bowen|
Addie, you don't need to go any further on this research. I linked her parents. I believe the information you sent. Thanks, Mary
|Mary Briggs||Hulda Howland|
Hi Addie, I don't know whether to thank you or apologies first. Thank you for bring my error to my attention. I had Hilda on Find A Grave with her maiden name and not a Bowen as it should be and I corrected that. Source: http://www.joycetice.com/cemt/quaker.htm
So, this lady, M. Hulda Howland, may be the daughter of John and Lois Howland by I don't have that information on my genealogy. Can you give me a source so I can make that connection? I do have John and Lois having a daughter Hulda, born on Oct. 10, 1774 which could be the same person but I don't have a death date or place.
I'm sorry not to just make the correction you suggested.

You are welcome. There are many others in the same plot. I've added most. I have a couple of 3 initial markers that don't seem to match any name on the stone. I will check back with the cemetery office the next time we are there to see if anyone else needs to be added.
|Desertthorn||28269346 Jane Hosier|
A lady sent me an edit to link Mary Shearer as the daughter of Thomas Hosier but I'm working on trying to see if they are actually related, and I noticed that Jane Hosier's photo is also only on Thomas'.
BTW, I'm amazed at how good your photos are as those are very told tombstones.
|Desertthorn||RE: Mary/William Shearer|
Thanks, will do .
