|Sherry Champlin||Elizabeth Ensign DOD 4/15/1852|
Hi, Nita - I believe you have your ancestor's bio on the wrong Elizabeth Ensign. There are 2 in Fairview; one died 1852, the other 1872 (or thereabouts). This particular Elizabeth was w/o Charles W. Ensign instead of Seth Cox. ~Sherry
Word of caution...Find A Grave removed all my flowers at one time because they disapproved of my entries. No warning. Beware.
Also, you state Elizabeth is their child (Ira and Clarinda). See her with them on the 1855 NY census as their NIECE. Ira has lived in that town for 24 years, Clarinda for 2 years, Elizabeth for 1 year (she is 5 on the census). I suspect Elizabeth is Ira's niece through a brother.

I have copied the info that you put in the flower section, into the Bio and have connected his wife to him. Thanks for your info.
I see you are a Ensign relative. I am looking for a picture of Harvey C. Ensign. He was a Master at Waymarts Masonic Lodge and we at the lodge wish to honor him in photo to go along with other Past Masters of who we have pictures of. If you can help or know of a lead to get us a picture please contact. Thank you.

You might be interested to know that I added the photo of their grave marker to their memorial today. I was there for my family and took photos of all the older monuments...as many as we had time for.
|Deborah Smith||Grandaugher Question|
Helen Lemos Austin is my mother. And yes, she is the granddaughter of Helen Elizabeth Fonda who married Charles F. Brandow. As you can see they are all buried in the same area. We put the marker for Antonio Lemos (Helen Lemos Austin's father) since he is buried there but never had a marker. Just learning that the Austin my mother married has his ancestors from White Hall, NY.

I have 1600 people documented and go back to Ireland with a Reed to 1808. Cannot find much in Ireland yet but have recently found an obituary that gave me the clues that I need.
