It is getting very frustrating with people that will NOT add changes that I send for memorials!
They happen to have 1 of my family members and will not transfer (which is fine) BUT will not make the additions either. It messes up the family lines for others that come to research the same families. I checked some of the people and they are very active on here. So.......if you won't keep up with the memorials please don't make them up in the first place or please transfer them to their families so they can make the changes! I call these 'empty' memorials. They just have a birth and death year, no obit, no links and no actual date of death. By giving these to the families, so much can be added. It just seems selfish to me. Please remember that you don't own these people just because you found them first. This isn't about how high your numbers can get, it's about honoring the departed and giving people as much info as we can about these people for their trees. And that should be all!
Thanks so much to all the volunteers that have gotten my family stone pictures...I'd be lost without you! I know how difficult this can be.
The PERFECT stone picture is one that isn't chopped off around the sides. There should be 'outdoors' around all 4 sides. I want to see what the stone looks like! And please no date or your name through the picture! The stone picture looks best if it's taken in front of the stone, not at an angle. A trick I use to keep my reflection off the stone: I stand behind another stone and use the zoom on the camera (if needed).
I will transfer anyone that's not related to me. You don't need a reason for transfer, just that you want them is good enough for me! I don't believe in hoarding memorials!
My grave stone pictures are not copywrited. You don't need permission to use them any way that you want. I'd rather my name doesn't go on anything. I just enjoy walking the cemeteries to get these stones. :-)
My family pictures ARE copywrited. They are fine to take and put in your personal tree but not to be posted online. Thanks.

Thanks again too Cathy for taking all the photos for me. I really appreciate all the help you've given me.

That would be wonderful if you don't mind transferring.

I'd like ownership of all the horr family and wife if at all possible. This is my mothers side of the family.

That area of section three has very very few markers. And it is up at what was once the end of the property. Perhaps those people didn't have the money. Not a potter's field, but similar.

|Kathy Salazar||Mary Boss and Frances Purkall photo requests|
Unfortunately, both requests are unmarked. I noticed your note on Mary's request saying the marker existed. There is a Mary Boss buried in Eventide with a marker. I did post a photo of the empty niche which shows Mary is next to Alice Carlson memorial # 85361819.
Frances Purkall is next to Virginia Osborn memorial # 85481928. Again, I posted a photo of the empty niche.
