I have been into genealogy and walking cemeteries since 2006. One side of my family comes from southern Iowa/Northern Missouri (Wayne County and Mercer County) via Pennsylvania (Hempfield, West Moorland). The other side from Norway to Bode in Humboldt County, Iowa. Those Norwegians are hard to figure out! I also have roots in Greene County and scattered around the state. I would be happy to go to any cemeteries in central Iowa when time permits, just let me know where and who I am looking for and I will get there as soon as I can. I am also willing to look up information needed on a person at the local libraries when I go. I keep a list of requests and will be happy to add more. |
If I have added a memorial for your family and that person is not in mine, I am willing to transfer.

I just looked it up. They are one and the same.
"Morgan Twp aka Morgan Cemetery." as per the usgenweb, Iowa, Franklin county site.
I will straighten this out thru find-a-grave.
I am very familiar with this area and this family. famfindr

Are you telling me that there are two separate cemeteries?
They are buried at the Morgan Township Cemetery.
Bob was on the board there for many years. Their obits say that is where they are buried.
These people are family members of mine and I put Lydia & Harry up two years ago. I have other family members there also. famfindr

Thank you very much for your efforts. My wife and I have fulfilled requests in our area in Southern California and have enjoyed it greatly.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Betsy...thank you for the photo of Constance Hickman Bent's grave marker. I apologize for not thanking you sooner but I am just now discovering your kindness. Thanks again, and happy holidays.

Thank you so much for the photo of the Cromwell Headstones you posted to Annette "Nettie" Cromwell's page. I also appreciate the information you added about the directory note.

I was wondering if this was the Rev. Gerald Pletcher who pastored First Assembly of God in Milan, Tenn. in the 1950,s. If so, he has a daughter buried there #20699266. He also had a daughter (Nancy) who was in my class in school then. She would be around 75 as of this date Nov. 25, 2016. David Smith 205-486-3183.
Betsy - Thank you for adding photos for the Zufalls. Very nicely done.

I think so, I tried to find the James as a separate person but couldn't.
