RE: David Spaulding #49860706 Thank you for your response and additional information! It is very appreciated. Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who adds people I'm not related to into Find A Grave. I just wish I could find a small cemetery like Spaulding to do what you did. The one I'm working on has 110+ burials and I've added/photographed more than 75% of it and I'm not done yet.
Since you offered in transferring memorials, could you please transfer the following to me. (It will be all of the Spauldings with the exception of Henry. I'm not sure if/how he fits in the tree.)
Abigail #49860705 David #49860706 Frank #49860707 Lucinda #49860703
David Spaulding #49860706 Hello, I'm just starting research for this side of my family and I am hoping you can fill in some clues. I am basing my information on my Grandmother's research and at the moment, I can't find her resources.
Grandmother didn't have any other wives listed for David. However, she had Mary Butterfield listed mother of David, 2nd wife to his father Daniel. This leads me to wonder if Hannah Putnam is first wife of Daniel.
Any resources would be wonderful as I'm trying to learn as much about this family as possible.
James Saikowski Paul, I have posted your photograph of James' gravestone to my ancestry.com family tree and have credited you in the following way:
Photograph taken by and permission to post graciously granted by Find A Grave Member Paul Huber. Originally posted to Find A Grave Memorial for James Saikowski (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=30167996).
Thank you so much for allowing people to use your photographs. It is very generous of you Mary
David Davis ~ You created a memorial and posted pictures of my GGrandpa, David Davis, in 2009 at Maxwell Cemetery, Maxwell, Story, Iowa. Tell me about the picture of the stake of the IOOF. Is that a generic picture from the cemetery or is the stake posted at David Davis's plot. Also can you tell me what the other initials stand for.
Thanks you so much for the work you've done. I've been looking for this part of family for years.
