One thing about sending email is that you cannot read the tone of someone's voice in a written message.
I am so sorry you felt I was snippy in my query. I was merely curious. I must not have expressed that sentiment effectively. I just came across the memorial with three photos of the same stone and noticed it. I do not need to post another photo. One was an exact copy of another.
I am not the Find A Grave "police"...just looking...
This is his memorial:

Sorry to sound rude...not intended that way.
|Gary Hoffman||Thanks for the photos|
That was a prompt reply. Thanks a lot.

Just curious why you and another contributor would post additional photos of the same gravestone. That takes up two of the five photo slots, but it does not yield additional information. The first photo was excellent. The second one was an identical copy even! Huh? Why would someone do that?
|Matt Hannan||Orville Flynn|
Thank you for the photo! My grandfather, Orville Flynn, died a few years before I was born and I do not think I have ever even been to his grave. My family moved out of NY soon after I was born. I've learned a great deal about him through genealogy and then good old fashioned hard research on his unit during WWII. To see a picture of that white stone, its...well, THANK YOU!
Thanks so much for the photo of this WW II veteran's grave, your help is greatly appreciated.
