I have enjoyed genealogy for many years; very addictive. This web site is wonderful for a research tool. It is getting better all the time as people add more and more graves and the notes attached are very helpful. My main research is the Bucklands and Wingards but of course, this goes off onto many other branches.|

Thanks for the ultra quick response.

Done. I've made edit suggestions for full birth and death dates and state or province of birth and death, and the full middle name, and relinked the children to 64097131 as their mother. I've now deleted my duplicate.

You're right, I hadn't realized the previous record was there. I have to leave for work soon, but this evening I'll make suggestions for things to add to the other memorial, and then delete mine.
|Linda Parrish||RE: David Samuel Wingard|
Thank you for your prompt reply to my email. I started doing research last Aug. on my Wingard ancestry. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I have found all of Christian's children's burial sites except for my great grandfather's.
I know my Dad's brothers did some research on him and found out how and where he died but I don't know whether they ever found out where he is buried.
My grandfather Irvin Wingard died when I was about four and my father told us some things about his grandfather David that his father told him. My Dad, John Samuel Wingard was born on Jan. 27,1919 and died on April 4, 1994. Irvin was 98 when he died and was about nine when DS Wingard went off to fight in the Civil War. My Dad never knew his grandfather or grandmother.
The other living son of David Samuel Wingard was given his name and died in 1946. I have never met any of Jr's children although I have researched them. I hope one day to meet some of them and compare notes. Thank you for your info about their birth dates. I was afraid I had made some big errors in thinking he was the son of Christian Wingard even though my Dad said his grandfather was the son of Christian. I will continue to research and maybe will eventually find his burial place. Thanks again. Linda Wingard Parrish

This is my brother, you have some info wrong:
My fathers name is Kermit Burl Buckland
You have dates wrong for my grandfather Elbert , DOB: 4-10-1878, DOD: 3-4-1919. My great grandfather Joseph dates also wrong, DOB: 10-02-1848, DOD: 01-31-1908.
|Rebecca DuHamel||RE: Edit tab in profile|
No I didn't know about it. Or at least I thought they emailed you when you received an edit. So I am sorry that I didn't see any edits before. When I just looked it showed that I had approved the edit you made to Sarah Gaylor (which I didn't even know I did) but I don't see any others. I will make sure to check this tab frequently now. Thank you so much for telling about this. Learn something new everyday. And just let me know if I need to make anymore changes. I'll be glad to.
|Linda Parrish||son of Christian winged|
Dear Addie, I saw where you had put part of my email requesting that you add David Samuel Wingard as the son of Christian Wingard. Thank you for doing that but I think it may have created more of a problem, not of your making. I saw where Catherine Rachel Wingard Sullivan was added also and the date on her headstone was 1831. The info I had on her was she was born March 27,1828 and died in 1902. How can I verify the date of her birth and my great grandfather's. His birth date is April 27, 1831. DS Wingard's wife, Nancy Lambert Wingard is also buried in Union Methodist Cemetery in Westover, Shelby Co. She is my great grandmother.
Do you know of anyone who can clear up the date of their births.
According to my info the first 5 children of Christian were born in Lexington, SC. and were all buried in Alabama except one daughter
Would you please email me if you know of anyone who may know the answers I am seeking. I don't want my email address on public display but I would like to find out if the info I have is correct or not. I have not found DS Wingard's grave site as I told you before but I would love to know exactly where he is buried. I don't want to put you to any trouble but I don't know anyone else to ask. Just disregard this if it's a problem. Linda Wingard Parrish

Thank you so much for your brilliant work at the Church Street Cemetery, and for your quick edits. It is much appreciated.
|Mary Schumann||Urania Bucklin|
Hi Addie, Urania is buried in Riverside in block 12, the east half of lot 5. There is no stone there for her. I photographed the entire block including a photo of where she is buried marked with flowers and will add that photo. Sorry there wasn't a stone. Mary
