I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
Again, I no longer use chalk
If I use the EDITS tab for additional information, I do not have a record of where the information came from. I will no longer accept this form of updating a listing. Anyone wishing me to put information on a listing should send me a "find a grave" e-mail requesting the information be added.

Thanks very much for the photos of the graves of the DeRidder family members in Greenridge Cemetery in Saratoga Springs. Maud DeRidder was a born into the Minton family of New York City. The Mintons were once prominent members of New York Society but the family members who had the Minton name have died out and are mostly forgotten today.

Thanks for the photo. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much for the photo of Dr. Sigsby's stone. Did you by chance get a picture of his wife's - Lillian Geraldson Sigsby? I don't know why I didn't put a request in for her (she's the relation), but I just added it.
Thanks for all your work with Find a grave!

Thank you for taking a photo of my great grandmother's grave. I've been searching for information about her for years. A member of Facebook Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness found her grave plot. Now things are becoming complete.
