My husband, Franklin, and I are history nuts and love grave hopping. We are also Civil War buffs. We welcome any questions.
We will also help anyone with their genealogy searches in NC (Jordan, Hooks, Tetterton, Locke, Watson, Boone), NH, NY (Goodbread, Stock, Bruce, Frink, Milroy, Hickok, Schuler, Honeywell, WEatherwax), MA (Bruce, Dustin, Prentice, Barnes, Locke), ME(Shibles) and NH (Shibles, Griffin). That is currently where we have ancesters.
If you feel you might be related, please contact us. We are trying to fill holes in our trees and would dearly love the assistance. Please feel free to copy any photos that we have placed. (please ask those who placed pictures for their permission.)
Thanks so much.

 | Bruce Transfers Thank you for removing the duplicates. Every little bit helps to keep the Find A Grave database the best possible. Figured if you knew they were buried in Brewster Cemetery, then you must be family. I'm sure they will be in good hands. | | | Perfield Girl
 | Sammons Cemetery #2 Hi again. I see the cemetery is in Mohawk Twp and about 2 miles from Johnstown in Fulton Co. If you have any further clarification to add that would be great.
On the memorial for Sampson Sammons, two photos are attached, which has me a little curious about a couple of things. Now I'm just "thinking out loud"....on the photo you added, can you tell what the inscription says under his date of death?
On the photo the other volunteer added...looks like date of death is the same. But it seems very curious that the same individual would have two gravestones. Your thoughts?
Isn't it all fun?! My husband thinks my hobby is crazy. | | | Perfield Girl
 | Sammons cemetery Hi. You have done some work in this burial ground, thank you very much. The described location is "Old Trail Road", Montgomery Co. Not very specific.
Can you tell me what township it's in? What village it's near? etc.
Thanks! | | | larry bost
 | bost family cemetery, midland nc Hello, how did you fine the names of the family members that are buried in the family cemetery? I am a descendant of William Bost and have been searching far and wide for the names of people that are buried there. Thank you for any assistance you can offer. Larry Bost | | | Glenn Ellis
 | RE: Organ Lutheran Cemetery Hi Debbie, Re: Your message to me concerning the Organ Lutheran Cemetery,
you write "Glenn ~ Saw your posting of Catherine Ridenaur at Organ Lutheran. Are you taking care of the interments there? If you are would you like to take care of the ones I have entered?Debbie Jordan"
The answer is I am not the one taking care of interments there. However, my ancestors were pioneers of that church and the German settlement and helped to build the church. Many of my direct ancestors are buried there, i.e., the Ridenaur, Dellingers, etc.
Respectfully, Glenn Ellis

I was wondering if you had sent the pictures or information that we had talked about earlier this summer? If so, I never received it. If not, would you? Thanks.Added by Sharon on Sep 08, 2012 2:28 AM | | | Jerry Semprevio
