Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have enjoyed genealogy for many years; very addictive. This web site is wonderful for a research tool. It is getting better all the time as people add more and more graves and the notes attached are very helpful. My main research is the Bucklands and Wingards but of course, this goes off onto many other branches.

Re: Welcome Arnold Jr
Watch out for Family Search's approximate dates. If you do the math on the death record, he was actually born in 1824, not 1825. Census reports are the same.

RE: Caroline Jane Barnes Arnold
I know that feeling! And I saw that you have been working on Eddy genealogy, and that her mother was an Eddy, too.

Am I reading her father's first name correctly as Potter? I don't see him in Family Search at all, so I wondered if perhaps I was wrong.

George & Caroline (Barnes) Arnold
Thanks for the additional information!

Their birth dates are listed in the book, "Vital Records of Northbridge Massachusetts to the year 1850," pubished by the New England Historic Genealogical Society. The info was taken from their grave marker(s), indicated in the book as being in Pine Grove Cemetery (G.R.1).

Unfortunately, since the book is only concerned with events up to 1850, it didn't list their death dates. In your SAC, you gave Caroline's last name as Eddy, but I think this may have been a typo, as I see her in the Douglas Death Records as Caroline Jane Arnold, nee Barnes. I'll make the additions right away.

Again, thanks!

Irma Eddy correction
Thanks for the note about George being her father - not her spouse (oops).

Happy Easter!

RE: Frank McChesney
Sorry, the correct number is 83461184.

It is the one in Pulaski. I didn't notice before that there was another because I had searched on Frank Earle McChesney. Earle with an e on the end. The other one is just Earl. I will contact that person and ask that they delete and give them this memorial number. I did add the gravestone photos I took to yours.

Thanks,

Dianne Parks

Cinthia Swartout
Her first name
Alche is the phonetic pronunciation for the proper dutch name Aaltje.

RE: Esther Gage
Oh geez, thanks, I will fix the site. I just had Ancestry shut off. This family is a pickle to figure out.
Good luck,

Esther Gage
I just found out she married Johnathan Currin in Methuen, Massachusetts, yr is unknown and I updated more information on her father's site, John Paine Gage. I couldn't find any Currin's on Find A Grave unless they spelled it differently.
Good luck with your search.
