I have enjoyed genealogy for many years; very addictive. This web site is wonderful for a research tool. It is getting better all the time as people add more and more graves and the notes attached are very helpful. My main research is the Bucklands and Wingards but of course, this goes off onto many other branches.|

Thank you so much for your brilliant work at the Church Street Cemetery, and for your quick edits. It is much appreciated.
|Mary Schumann||Urania Bucklin|
Hi Addie, Urania is buried in Riverside in block 12, the east half of lot 5. There is no stone there for her. I photographed the entire block including a photo of where she is buried marked with flowers and will add that photo. Sorry there wasn't a stone. Mary
|Linda Parrish||Christian Wingard's son|
Please add my great grandfather David Samuel Wingard Sr. as one of the sons of Rev. Christian Wingard. He was born April 27,1831 and died during the Civil War on Jan. 17,1863. His body has never been returned back to Alabama for burial but is buried somewhere in Richmond Va. I have not been able to locate his grave. He was in the 5th Al Infantry Vol. Regiment Co. H.
Christian Wingard is buried on the Wingard-Kelley Cemetery in Titus Al. along with his wife. I have not seen my great Grandfather's name mentioned anywhere as a son of Christian Wingard or as a sibling to any of Christian's other children but on the Rootsweb.
He was married to Nancy Lambert Wingard on Dec. 8,1853. He left her with two small sons and went off to fight for his country and never returned home. One of those sons was my Grandfather Irvin Wingard (1854-1952) buried in Wilsonville Cemetery in Wilsonville Al. Shelby Co. and the other is David Samuel Wingard Jr. buried in Columbiana Cemetery, Columbiana Al.
Please try to add his name if possible. Thank you. Linda Wingard Parrish
There are two letters he wrote in the State of Alabama Archives and History Department

Thank YOU very much for making time to take the picture and posting it. Also for removing what moss you could from the monument for the picture. Very much appreciated. Kindest regards,
