I've been researching my family since 1992 and have created several websites for various branches. I enjoy visiting area cemeteries and usually take some extra photos in the hope of helping someone else. |
If you're interested in who my ancestors are, you can look under my virtual cemetery for the link to "My Ancestors". These are my direct line ancestors only, but will give a good feel for the surnames I'm researching and why.
Please feel free to use my photos for your personal, non-commercial use. I appreciate being given credit.

|Theresa Pink||Kenneth B. McClellan|
I am going through some family pictures and found one with the name; Kenneth B. McClellan, Armor-Gun and Tail Gunner Weaver, Nose Turret - attached to it. Trying to find family members that may enjoy a copy of the photo.
|MJD Dexter||Christine Cromie Spinks|
Do you know if Christine was the daughter of James and Minnie (Cormie) Cromie? Mike D
|Bob Keith||Lottie and Joseph W. Ralston|
I just submitted a photo request for the gravesites of Lottie Taylor Ralston and Joseph W. Ralston. I am related to Virgil Young Ralston.
Just out of curiosity, where did you find your information about Lottie living in Quincy, IL at the time of her death. VY and Lottie's second son, Charles Taylor Ralston, was born 1/2/1859, according to his census records, in NY, I assume at either Cambridge or White Creek.
Can you please help me put together this most interesting story I am in the process of putting together. It began when I was able to obtain copies of the file contents of the Civil War Guardian Pension application made by Thomas Livingston, married to Julia Ann Barber, Mary E. Taylor's sister, on behalf of VY's minor child Charles.
Thank you, Michelle, so very much for the photos you took at Woodlands Cemetery. I appreciate it for myself but also for all the other relatives who will be able to see your great photos. Thanks. Jim

Yes, I am one of his daughters so would be happy to maintain his memorial. Thank you for providing the picture.
|Alice ||RE: Mary Crandall Hill|
I believe that Mary Crandall 1796-1857 memorial 99716789 and Polly Crandall 1796-1857 memorial 123467623 are probably the same person... Polly was a common nickname. If so, they are both the mother of Mary Crandall Hill, and the wife of Alexander Crandall 99716788. I have no clue if the maiden name James is correct or not. Alexander Crandall and Polly Crandall are both in lot D 95 Greenwich Cemetery, but there is no Mary Crandall 1796-1857 stone or cemetery record. So, I just posted my physical evidence from the cemetery. It's up to the other person to post evidence for memorial 99716789, which I suspect is just a different source, such as an old genealogy. There are bound to be conflicts, depending on the source.... and I'm sure that Find A Grave is helping to straighten out a lot of old errors. Alice
