RE: Jacobus Jellis Van Vorst
I'm a bit confused by your message. Can you give me the specfic Find A Grave memorial # for the person you'd like me to transfer to you?

John LaGrange Prospect Hill
It took me a while to remember where I had found the stones in Prospect Hill. I found it and took new better photos of the stones now that they are dried out. They are posted on the memorials for John and Anna. I also have added the coordinates for the stones. If you click on them they will show you right where the stones are. The easiest description I can give you is go into the cemetery and up the hill to where you come to the first paved road on the left. This is the point where the sign is at the top of the hill and you can either go straight or left. Take the left there and the stones are almost immediately on the left near the road.

Thanks for your message. You did not say what cemetery you were referring to. What cemetery? Perhaps I can help.

Maria Wendell
Maria Wendell, in the Balston Spa Village Cemetery is now transferred to your care, please take good care of her.
I do not know if Jacob Henry Wendell is buried in the cemetery, but if records show that he most likely is. You might find something on the Saratoga County GenWeb in the cemetery section at:

RE: LaGrange families
I'm a little confused. Are you needing a transfer of this memorial? I got a message from Find A Grave that you transferred to me. So I clicked on memorial and find that it was created by me. Not sure what to do with this.

RE: LaGrange
Thank you :) It makes my work that much more important because I understand how important memory is and feeling connected. We have a couple nice days coming up this week if I get a chance I will swing though Prospect Hill, I am trying to get a copy of their burial register/plot map, but there never seems to be anyone around who can direct me on where to find it. We do have church records at the Guilderland library, they might be useful as well. :)

RE: LaGrange
I haven't had time to poke around in Prospect Hill lately. We lost our own daughter this past February and I am just returning to things that previously had been my passion. I will keep the LaGrange family name in mind when I go back there. It isn't a very accessible cemetery in the winter, but perhaps in the Spring.Thank you for messaging me.

RE: LaGrange
I'm finding many LaGrange markers in my photographs that I cannot read and I suspect that your names are in there. I'm continuing to look just in case.
