I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.
I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages. Thank You for your messages
Thank you Thank you for your photos of the gravestone for my 2nd great-aunts, Mary Kelly and Margaret McGraw. It has answered a few questions (eg what was the first name of their husbands) and raised a few more (who are the people named above Mary because there is no record of them being buried there).
