RE: Agnes Karker Peck 109615415
Hi Samantha, Lived across the street, small world. I'm related to all of the Schoharie County Karkers, if you go back to our first American ancestor John Phillip Karker who arrived in 1732.

If you want to transfer any Karker's to me, please do and I'll add info to their memorials as I find it. I've been doing on-line research, but I also have lots, and lots, of family documents I have yet to go through.

I used to do research out in Schoharie County, but San Diego is home now. I'm still a member of the Schoharie County Historical Society. I also do research on the gravesides of member's of the 134th Infantry, a Karker (last name Guffin, son of Mary K) served in the 134th.

Thanks for having created the Karker Find A Grave Memorials.

Memorial# 116398679
Hello Samantha! The "Zygmunt Wrobleski" (Memorial# 116398679) whom you have connected as the son of John Wroblewski (Memorial# 141574657) and Josefa "Josephine" Mendrek (Memorial# 141574714) is not correct. Although John and Josephine Wroblewski did have a son named "Zygmunt", he was born in 1899 (not 1888), he was born in Schenectady, NY (not Poland) and he was married to Julia Szcislowicz (not Josephine Bakajczuk) in Detroit, Michigan. The obituaries for parents John and Josefa Wroblewski confirm that their son resided in Michigan - however, the "Zygmunt Wrobleski" you have connected with them never lived in Michigan. After much research, I was able to confirm that John and Josefa Wrobleski were married in 1898 and had all of their children in Schenectady NY. I was also able to come to the reasonable conclusion that Josefa, who was born in 1881, did not have a son in 1888 (she would have been 7). I also have no evidence that father John Wrobleski was ever married prior to Josefa or had any other children outside of his marriage. Thank you so much for your attention to removing your "Zygmunt Wrobleski" memorial's connection to my great-great grandparents. Thank you, also, for taking the time to create memorials, take pictures, and pay respect to all of our relatives :)
Most Respectively, Christine

Hi Samantha, no need for a transfer if you're willing to add information. I do love to give life to memorials by adding as much info about the person possible. Thanks.

Warm regards,

Gravestone Photo Permission
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Shirley Alfred-Danziger in Temple Israel Cemetery (Memorial# 95515724).

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the non-profit Alford American Family Association's collection of New York Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—
Permission granted by the photographer, Samantha Cleveland

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)
