Bio and Links
Bio Photo People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.

Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.

Do not ask me to transfer if you are not related it will not happen!!!

You must love it when another volunteer on this site tries to get you in trouble for things when they violate FAGR rules everyday

Yes, I know there is an edit button no kidding. I will get to it as I can. Fortunately, I do not live on this site.

While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.

Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.

Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.

Mt Hope - Fordbush
Daryl,

It looks like a few thousand of the memorials that you planned to add to Mt Hope Cemetery (Cem # 65340) in Rochester ended up in Mt Hope Cemetery (Cem #65339) in Fordbush. I checked a few names with the Mt Hope Rochester listing online and they were in the wrong cemetery.

If you send an email to 'edit@findagrave.com' and ask them to move all memorials you own from the Fordbush Cemetery to the Rochester one, they can do it very easily. If you try to do it yourself, it would take a long time.

Thanks,
Paul

40514179 Knowles
Hi Daryl. I was hoping that the Knowles page you put up was my ancestor Mehitable Bills Knowles (b 1778) who died in 1850 and who had lived in NY. When I checked the online copy of the cemetery book for that time period, page "Kn", I found that the only entry for a Knowles from 1850 was Robert Knowles, infant, still born. Lived on Mill St, interred in "Pub." I'm assuming this is the person that would match your page 40514179.
