Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have enjoyed genealogy for many years; very addictive. This web site is wonderful for a research tool. It is getting better all the time as people add more and more graves and the notes attached are very helpful. My main research is the Bucklands and Wingards but of course, this goes off onto many other branches.

Edith M. Crogan

Edith is, indeed, buried In Niskayuna. Her full siblings were John, Ada, Carlton, E. Ruth, William and Walter. There were no half siblings.

RE; You have 2 Walter C. Hazards
Hello; thanks for your input. FYI, when I submitted the spreadsheet for Pine Grove Cemetery way back in 2002, it somehow got posted twice, once on 6 October and then again about a week later. Although it's pretty easy POSTING a spreadsheet like that, about 800+ interments, at that time, they apparently couldn't DELETE it as a sheet; they had to be removed one at a time.
I timed how long it took to delete one person, it worked out to about 45 seconds, now it's a little less with a cable modem and faster computer, but it would still take me over six hours of non-stop deleting to get all the duplicates off.
For that reason, I delete them when someone contacts me, as with your Walter C. Hazard. I know at that rate I'll probably be a permanent resident on Find-A-Grave myself before I get them all deleted, but it's better to have two than none. A lot of people use find a grave, especially the older cemeteries, to research their family.
Thanks again for your input, and your contributions to Find-A-Grave.

You're very welcome. That family tree based on that book is very extensive! Glad it helped! :)

Hi Addie, I would agree that it is the usual practice to use the name of the last husband but that isn't always the case. (Unfortunately for genealogists!) In my own family my Aunt chose to be buried by her first husband and use his name rather than her second husband of 25 years. It took me a while to find her buried by husband #1 but evidently it was her choice. Perhaps I could update her bio to include the Gustin name on the first line. any thoughts?

No Addie, you were correct! I had the wrong father attached to her. Are you related? I would gladly transfer any memorials that you would like! Thanks
