Bio Photo This summer I searched for my kin (Brown, Collins, Duel, Gifford, Reynolds, Robinson, Saunders, Shaw)

- I will check any suggested edits & request more information if I can't verify the information
- use any photos any where & any way you wish. Please add this to the photo caption "Used with the written permission of Jeni (#47733487) at FindaGrave" If you have a better photo, I'll delete upon request.
- generally happy to transfer memorial if I am not related, please let me know your connection.

Notes about Schenectady County cemeteries I'm working on:

*Agudat Achim - I used Jewish Gen for Hebrew translations & their date calculator for dates found only in Hebrew. I will be adding my photos to their website when done adding here (it's taking me forever).

*Niskayuna Reformed - Using "Cemetery Records Niskayuna Reformed Church Schenectady County as copied by Elizabeth D. Shaver 1966" Rest of photos in spring

*Saint Adalbert - spring - will finish mowing rows.

*Saint George's - Add names from "Names on Tombstones and Tablets Located in the Churchyard and Church of St. George's Church (Episcopal) - Schenectady, N.Y." and then add any missing photos. Birth years calculated from age. (photos in spring)

Top ten tips I've learned (slowly, sometimes painfully)
1-When searching for parent links, use "Before" in the drop down box for Birth date before child
2-Use a shortcut program such as TextExpander to save tons of time doing inscriptions
3-If there is an office always ask how they prefer to handle plot requests - never just appear with a list
4-Read the forums - there are many good ideas there (and humor)
5-When fulfilling requests photo all the graves around that memorial
6-My cemetery tool belt includes a child's broom (soft & no bending needed), tiny clippers which won't damage a flat stone, flowers, gloves, wipes, Umbrella hat
7-Check before you enter a memorial for dupes in that cemetery & after for dupes in that county
8-When you go to a new section in a cemetery, take a picture of that section's sign before photographing any memorials
9-Fulfill photo requests for the joy of the hunt, some pictures are never acknowledged
10-You can type in numbers & letters in a drop down box - it can be much quicker

Hi Jeni - I should have given you an explanation of my Edit. Everything is exactly the same, with the exception of the spelling of - faithful. The memorial, as it reads now has a typo in that word and could be corrected.

Thanks again, Georgia

RE: James Holmes
What a shame...the inscription is intriguing. Thanks for the information, and for all of your work!

Charles and Judith
I just noticed the close pictures of Charles and Judith marker info. Thank you for that. Just curious, are they buried close to Carolyn, Marion and Fred Randall?

Helen-Marie Richards
Thank you so much Jeni for taking the time to take a photo of Helen's grave and allowing me to add it to other sites. I have added your credit to the photos. I knew there wasn't much chance of me getting to New York in the near future so am stoked to finally have this photo! Thanks again, Linda :)

Virginia M. Craw Moran
Thanks for taking the time to figure out that Virginia M. Craw Moran, 144946215, is related to me and for transferring her record to me as well as the offer of transferring other Craw related records to me. I will take good care of her record and if I find other recodes will ask you to transfer them if some kind of an update is needed. It was so thoughtful to track me down like that.
