RE: Lena E. (Harrington) Mattison
Thanks, Jonathan. I do not have time this evening to digest all of this, but will get back to you in a day or two.

RE: Lena E. (Harrington) Mattison
OK, now I am really confused. Are you saying that Lena was the wife of William H. Mattison (married to Myrtle Keech, mem. #159358769)? William and Myrtle died 2 years apart in the late 1950s. I have found no divorce record. I am going to be in contact with family members soon and will see if I can get more info.
The daughter mentioned in Lena's obituary was Lulumae (Mattison) Hodder. Lulumae was the illegitimate daughter of Mary E. Mattison. Mary's parents were Alva B. and Minerva E. (Lawrence) Mattison. William & Myrtle took Mary in and may have adopted her.
So far, I have not connected Alva to William. So, I agree that we should leave things as they are for now.

Lena E. (Harrington) Mattison
Hi Jonathan,
In your memorial, #159358808, for Lena E. (Harrington) Mattison, you listed William H. Mattison (1888-1957) as her Husband. I am researching William's family and have found no record of him having any other wife than Myrtle Keech. If you have documentation for William and Lena's marriage, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Thank you.

Thanks for the update, I added a small bio regarding her family from the 1850 US and 1865 MN census records.

William Flansburgh
WIlliam Flansburgh was my 2nd great grandfather. He was a Reverend for nearly 50 years. He was born in 1809 and lived to the old age of 88 years.

He is buried in a grave which only has a granite number marking his grave. He was reinterred with about 100 other persons when the Sacandaga was flooded in the early 1900's. His father, Mattheus is buried in Day Center Cemetery. William had a son named WIlliam, but his dates do not match yours either. The Flansburg's were a big family and most of them lived in Day. Although I do not know the particular William that you have the photo for, it should be relatively easy to locate the correct William which matches your photo.
