I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages.
Thank You for your messages

I wanted to say another "thank you" for also doing my dads.
I had no idea the military plaque had been installed.
It was such a thrill to see it!

|xed_over||children of Melvin and Edith Shafer|
However, I show that they already have a son born in Nov 1908, so its unlikely that they would have another son born in Apr of 1909. But possible, I suppose.

I'm not yet familiar with all of the Shafer family and don't find a Leona/Leone in my list of names I have. But it does look like Leone could be their baby boy.
I only know that Melvin and Edith were parents to Earl, who was the third husband of Maria Lusiak Shafer from Germany. Maria was the mother of my wife's aunt.
