Find A Grave Memorial# 121370602
Alice,

I have located an obituary for Milton C. Johnson. Was published on page six of the Friday 12 December, 1890 edition of The Brooklyn Daily Eagle.

The deceased was well-known in his day as head of the Milton C. Johnson stationery manufacturing firm in New York.

If you would like a copy, let me know how to send it to you.

Regards,
Rich

Not blood related. One of my best friends (Nancy - since we were 12--many years ago), and we are still friends said it would be okay for me to ask.

Thank you Alice- especiallyfor taking the time to reply. I did send a message to the photographer and got a STUNNINGLY TERRIFIC reply, about the location with road directions AND and even with gps coordinates. Turns out I know pretty clearly where the Dutton Ridge Cemetery / that spot is located. Was Wonderful.

Do you have a location -a exact location for this cemetery? I have been researching adjoining landowners of the town of Broome , in Schoharie County, NY. There are a lot of familiar names in the list of graves and I am very curious as to exactly where this is! Thanks - CathyDillon email is cmdviola@aol.com

RE: # 44095962 Hiram Sinclair Ward
Alice,

I don't have the answer to your question as to how Irma Vivian Hinds (yes I found her birth record) could have had children of Hiram Sinclair ward in the 1940's.

All I know is what appears on the family monument, which indicates that they were married and makes it appear as if they had the three children listed on the stone.

Hiram Ward was single in 1930 and 1940 and the children weren't born until after the 1940 census. I have their birth dates and can see from Public Records that they lived in Washington Co., NY, but no further information.

And so I can see only two possibilities:
1) that Hiram Ward married another woman after 1940 and had 3 children, then (if your information is correct) married Irma V (Hinds) Caswell in 1955.
2) that Irma and Earl Caswell divorced after 1940 and she married Ward and had the children. I grant you that she would have been in her 40's when the children were born and that's pushing it a bit but not biologically impossible; and Earl Caswell's obituary makes it appear that they were still married at the time of his death.

If you learn anything more please let me know.
