Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been married 56 1/2 years but we have no children. I was an elementary teacher for 21 years, quitting in the spring of 1972 to stay home and care for a nephew for five years. After he became school age, I went back to work in 1977 as a police dispatcher and continued in this work for approximately ten years. I began my family research shortly before quitting this job. I took over publication of a family newsletter when the original publisher was no longer able to continue. I enjoy exchanging information with other researchers.

When requesting photos, please remember that the person who took the photo owns the copyright to that photo. Posting to another website a photo for which you do not own the copyright, or have permission to use from the copyright owner, is a violation of copyright laws. My many photos are placed here for other researchers to use in their personal files---not to be claimed as one's own and posted elsewhere without permission.

J S Allmon
RE: Allmon
Thank you for all the wonderful work you have done to memorialize folks who have passed away! It would be an honor to have family memorials transferred to my keeping.

I am Velma's daughter-in-law. My husband is Robert "Bob" Allmon. My member numbeer is #48361472.

It would be a conservative estimate to say that at least 80% of all the folks at Leann are Bob's family. All Allmon/Allman and Thomas and all their descendants buried there his family, as are the Allmon/Allman and Willhite (Velma was a Willhite) at Maple Park.

I am working to link all the parents and siblings together in Bob's family and it is a labor of love. Thank you in advance for each memorial that will be placed in my care.
