Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I live in Missouri.
I have been doing genealogy for about 9 or 10 years and really enjoy it.
James W. Fly, Jack A. Fly along with a lot of others have helped me with the Fly history.
Thanks to James, Jack, and Patty Russell for some of the Fly & Fly related photos.

I will gladly transfer any memorial that is not for my relatives/ancestors. And I may make some exceptions. I'll also gladly add links & additional information. I'll try to do corrections or add info on the same day I receive the request. Please use the edit link and then the "suggest a correction" link, as it is easier and faster.
If you find any errors that I have made, please let me know so I can fix them!
You are welcome to use any photos I have posted for your use. I believe they should be shared & that is one reason for posting them.

John Smith Blackwell
John Smith Blackwell was born in 1819 but St. Francois County wasn't created until 1821. Do you know what county he was born in?

RE: Joshua Fly 1877
Simply FYI, I have also edited two brothers of Joshua, Erastus (who died in FL) and Elbert (who died in KS), and added a page for his brother Odie (although I do not know where he is interred). There is still one more brother whom I haven't been able to find.

RE: Joshua Fly 1877
That is very strange that your email wouldn't go through - I've had that problem before also. Joshua's death in Sawdust is reflected in his death certificate.

Asher Pipkin Fly
Dear fellow contributor......
Thank-you for the volunteer work you have contributed to our shared family tree. Asher Pipkin Fly is my paternal 3rd great uncle. Here is the path. Self-Roger Sheldon Scott-Charles MacDonald Scott-Isabell Partrick Scott-William MacDonald Partrick-Sarah Matilda Fly-Asher Fly. While updating family tree information I ran across a DUPLICATE memorial for Mr Fly. It was created by Find A Grave user Stephanie on 16 May 2004 #8765892. I see that your memorial was created at a later date. Would you consider contacting Stephanie and resolving this duplicate?
Thank-you in advance for your time.

Charles Murry Fly Ft. Sam Houston
Section AH Site 2004

Charles Murry Fly is my uncle. Thank you for the information on the site.

Charles Murry is the son of Murry Henderson Fly and Mildred Loraine Hamm, not Margaret Loraine as stated in the first paragraph.

DeWitt Earl Fly is my father. He went by DeWitt but his name is Earl DeWitt Fly, Sr.

My uncle Benton Gaynel Fly, Sr. is not cited as a sibling. He is a veteran of WWII and I believe is buried in Midland, TX.

My uncle Jack Paul Fly, Sr. is not shown. He was born about 1927, is a veteran and is still living.

Thank you again for the information on the site.

RE: duplicate memorial
The cemetery is Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens. The person is Louise Vernon Fly Grisham and the number is in sequence so you may have hit enter twice. The cemetery is in Davidson County, Tennessee
