RE: Balser/Balsar Schultz/Shultz
Thanks! How should I handle this? He's obviously buried in Ohio...should I delete my memorial in Long Cemetery in Illinois and add my photo to his actual burial location and mention that it is a cenotaph? It's kinda weird....usually, folks would say, Hannah, wife of Balser Schultz, blah, blah, blah - not actually put all his info on another tombstone...or I could completely delete mine and mention on Hannah's memorial that he is actually buried in Ohio and has a memorial(cenotaph) stone at Long? I could use an opinion.....

Did you also dig that stone up? It looks FANTASTIC, especially considering it's age.....I appreciate it if you did...and for cleaning it up as well. No matter what, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PHOTOGRAPH!! (And the note letting me know you had added it...)

Thank you for fulfilling the photo request. Did you happen to take a photo of his wife's stone - Nellie Rorick Murphy? I have a photo request open for her as well. Thanks again.

RE: Harters/McKendree Cemetery
Hello Brent:
You wrote....
1st: "Oops, I meant to say click on the edit button. Then a tab appears on my contributor tools and I can click accept button."
2nd: "What is the source of your information? My computer is down and I have not figured my new phone out yet. If you have some documentation please send in a sac. With my phone I am able to accept sac's."

I am trying to figure out what you are asking. There are no supporting documents per'se.
What I sent you first is not info applicable to using the edit button. The sources would have been linking parents and spouses on the McKendree Cemetery listing and some or most verified by using online info by and Heritage Quest census records. As far as I know, documents cannot be sent via SAC. Is this what you wanted to know?

RE: Harters
When I discovered the McKendree Cemetery on Findagrave and realized no family members were linked, I looked at each one that had photos stating "wife of" or "(child)of" and decided to try and accomplish linking them up. Some were verified using online records on the Familysearch website and census records on Heritage Quest. I hope this answers your question. Good luck with that new phone!

RE: Re: Baltimores and Whites
I am starting to do offset lines a little bit, but so far have not run into any of the Gutches. I have about 3 distant confirmed DNA White line relatives on 23andme DNA website. Two of them married each other, not knowing they were distant cousins on the White line. I am trying to add their descendant ancestors into findagrave, but some graves are unknown and I am running into a few people who won't link people up. I tried making duplicates with links hoping for merges and findagrave deleted whole trees while ignoring the fact the other people own my DNA relatives and won't link them up. I took a bunch of pics of several small graveyards, but I don't really have time to list them or try to match them to listings like I thought I would. I find more and more details to research in my tree and my first cousin's trees and there is no end to the details I can find on and I have about 2000 cousins on 23andme and so far have only figured out about 4 or 5 of them as to matching family trees. That is why I am trying to flesh out the details of the descendants, which is harder than going backwards sometimes. There is a void of death records online between about 1951 and whenever social security started publishing deaths online. Some of my DNA cousins might be from second marriages of ancestors or from affairs, etc. Hard to say. Still it is interesting when you figure one out.I am lucky I got in on 23andme when they were still giving health reports. Now the FDA stopped that for new people.
