Amateur photographer in Massachusetts who has always enjoyed wandering through cemeteries and taking photos. Discovery of Find A Grave now gives me an excuse to get out with my camera and take photos.|
And yes, my profile image is indeed from an actual headstone in the Forefathers Burial Ground of Chelmsford, Massachusetts for Oliver Fletcher (d.1771) (Find A Grave Memorial# 18168422).

Will do. There are a LOT of family members in that one. I'll try to get to them all.

The database confirms he is in that plot. That is Yard 5B, Range 10, Lot 9, Grave 4A.

You might want to check out Matildas memorial. The photo on it is your photo copied from Matilda. Also copied to here John.
I already send SACs telling him to remove his dupes and send edits to the originals. There were a few more dupes he created in this cemetery and copied the photos to also. this is not the first time with him ughhhh

AJ removed that scanned article or whatever it was from the memorial. I didn't transcribe it to her bio. I dont think that it was something that needed to go on there. (or something she would have been proud of anyway) Denise.

Hmmm that is weird. Wonder what she did? I'll send it to photo and see if he'll remove it. Thanks. :)

You are very welcome! Glad I could assist with your research. Buried alongside John, William ( 1913- 1996 ) and Felice ( 1917- 1989) are buried. I took their photos and uploaded them to their memorial sites as well. Continued luck with your research! Pat

Sounds like a plan :) I am in Lowell so really not that far from either. But I am not a winter cold weather person at all so looking for headstone will have to wait for warmer weather for me. I'm sure we'll find them and then will be able to remove them from one or the other cemetery. Denise.

Hi Patrick, I got your SAC about Isaac. And do remember this. I have a photo request in for both him and his sister Anna over at Fairview in Westford. The Westford VRs have them there with the parents. I had a problem with the person who create the ones over in Heart Pond years ago. (I think he asked for a transfer, which I said no, so he created dupes of the whole family over there) I know there is a pic on the ones at Heart Pond but I think it was actually taken at Fairview. He also took pics of the parents headstone and posted them same day. I can not see a reason why the two children would be buried in Chelmsford when the family was living in Westford. (well actually anything is possible, but not really probable). Hopefully someone will find them in Fairview. Or when the weather is warm again I may even head over the Heart Pond and see if I can find them there. Denise.

I am researching family and noticed you listed the above person. This is my Maternal great-Grandfather. I have his W.W.I army picture and his draft card.I was just wondering if he was a relation in your family tree? You also listed "Isobel" buried in St.Pat's. This is my Great-Aunt, who was a "spinster" and lived with her sister,Francis, until her death. She raised my dad, Alden Peabody and his brother,John,in Lowell Ma. due to family issues.
Just figured I would touch base and see is there was a connection.
Thanks for the photos!
P.S. I,too, have a passion for wandering graveyards and taking photos. They are an untapped wealth of info and artistic beauty.
