I am working on maintaining Middlesex (Map), Essex (Map) and Suffolk (Map) counties in Massachusetts.|
If any information I enter is incorrect, you wish to add something, or would like a direct relative within four generations transferred just let me know. (per F.A.G. guidelines FAQ79) If requesting a transfer please make sure to say how you are related.
Please use the 'Edit' tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial for any of the above requests. Thank-you.
This is Find A GRAVE. Please do not ask me to link to 'burial unknowns'. I will be more than happy to do so when the location is found. Take a moment to read FAQ146 regarding unknown burials.
In case you do not wish to read FAQ146 it states "Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."

Thank you for researching! At least I now know they do not have a known burial.

Thank you very much for looking for his grave and headstone. His grave is so old I am not surprised to find his grave in an unknown location. Thank you for your help trying to find my great grandfather. Jack Eslick

Cooper/Patten. Did not know about the confusion on her grave.
Thanks for your support.

Thank you for your corrections on "plopped" Find A Grave memorials.

Thanks for pointing out the duplicate. I missed the other because the name spelling did not match the headstone.
|Jack Parker||Ancittia / Amititia|
Or whatever it is. I agree that the headstone looks more like "Am", but in MVR birth records, (as the mother) she is twice referred to as Ancititia - or whatever the spelling is. I'm willing to accept the correction - just thought I'd share what I had found first.

You're Welcome Denise! I applaud you on your huge undertaking with regard to the known/unknown Vets at the Lowell Cemetery. I'd like to help if I could but the only time I get there is on my lunch break as I work in Chelmsford but live west of Manchester NH. I don't get down there much except for work, plus I only go into the office in Chelmsford 3 days a week which would make me very close to Useless!
So, keep up the good work and good luck with your endeavor - it's a BIG ONE! But I'm sure the results will be very satisfying.

Thanks for finding the duplicate I created. They are always a problem, and I firmly believe in eliminating them. I didn't catch the spelling differences. I have sent the information to the other contributor and deleted my duplicate. Thanks again.
|Nancy & Rich Remling||RE: Ruth Nutting, Joseph & Jacob Morse|
Sigh. Just what we need- somebody plopping people anywhere. I'm now wondering about Jacob Morse. He was the son of Joseph and Susannah (Shattuck) Morse. Susanna had remarried to John Fay and by the birthplace of their children was living in Marlborough by that time. I'd also guess that she likely never did get to putting much of a stone for Joseph.

Thanks for letting me know about the problems with these stones. I unfortunately, only have the info from Find A Grave about their burials right now, but will keep researching. Hopefully we can find the answers whether they are actually there or elsewhere with some more research.
