Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

We have been researching for a couple decades. Families: Buckmaster, Patterson, Wollam, all variations of Teatsorth, Falk/Faulk, Johnson, Lee, Collier, Eschbarger, Orr, Brinton, Thomas, Grau, Hyde, Case, all variations of Brandeberry, Richcrick (Reichenbach), Slote, Balken, Ulmstead, Flower, Dick, Graham, Hyatt, and many more.

Also a focus on those who have fought for and kept us free ~ our American veterans. We have a virtual cemetery for these units: 31st and 49th Ohio Infantry who fought during the Civil War.

Coleman Family Cemetery
Did you add this cemetery? If so, I have some additional information from the Allen County, Indiana public library you may want to include. I'd be happy to email a copy of it to you. Thanks!

Austin Family
Hi. Just curious if you are related to Margaret Austin Knight #30011040? Noticed you managed quite a few of the Austin family memorials. I didn't see their surname on your list.

Thomas LaFave photo
Hello. You took a picture of the grave of Thomas LaFave (#20061598) in Cheboygan Co, MI. Would it be OK for me to use the photo on my private tree? I would give you the credit.
He is my great great great aunt's first husband. Thank you for taking the photo.

Just want to thank you for updating his memorial. I do have a flower left that has a lot of his info if you want to use it. It saddens me when I see someone who isn't linked to their family :(

I appreciate all the hard work you've put in. And I especially love the poem you have on your page.

Thank you again,

I sent Tammy a note. I ask her to check and see how many she has duplicated in Star Cemetery. I hope she will take my advice as I meant it. We all have to learn how to use Find A Grave so that it will be an enjoyable place to do research. One memorial per person is enough. I did find that Tammy has pictures in Bellaire that have been laced in Mancelona by mistake. By taking a picture in a cemetery it is fairly well accepted that the memorial belongs there also. Thank you for putting your message to me is such kind words. Mary
