Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thank you for checking the graves that I have added. If you have any additions, corrections or pictures to add, please contact me. As a fellow genealogist I welcome hearing from you. I will answer/and/or make the corrections in what I hope is a timely manner.

However, I have sadly learned over the years, that there are a few ungracious or nasty people out there. I will not answer such messages...also remembering you. I used to be more willing to transfer graves upon request, if I have not put a lot of work into them. I have put many, many hours into some of these families. However, I have found that most people do not even send a thank you or acknowledgement when I do this. There are a few very gracious exceptions, and I really appreciate it. I also try to acknowledge who sent me new information in the FAG bio, which I believe to be only right. However, I found that it does not always go both ways.

Many years ago I wrote a small book on the Critser & related famlies.
If you have any information or pictures to add for this book, please let me know. I know that there are many mistakes in it, since it was written long before computers became popular.

Adolph Bauman
Adolph Bauman was my great grandfather. How wonderful to find some information on findagrave.com! Do you know if his grave has a marker? His daughter, Marie (Mary), married Stanislas Kankowski who later changed his name to Stanley Young. They were my father's parents. Any information you have would be most appreciated. I know very little about this side of my family. Donna Young Whitley

Thank you, Oh so very much, for transferring my sister's memorial to my care. I was planning to create one as soon as I returned from her funeral but you beat me to it. Looking at your profile, there seem to be thousands that owe you a debt of thanks. Good luck in your pursuit of this 60,000,000,000 piece jigsaw puzzle we call genealogy.

Thanks so much, Alana! I think you may have switched first/middle names and misspelled Spaulding or I goofed and didn't spell it correctly when I added it. Sorry! I've just sent the edit to add the g at the end. I will put through edits for his wife, thanks again!

ALMINA J. "PATRICIA" KONRADY (NEE STEVENS)
Patricia Konrady, devoted mother and grandmother, died peacefully with her family at her side on July 21, 2015, at the age of 94. Patricia is survived by her five children: John (Linda) Konrady, of Crown Point, IN, Thomas (Ananyr) Konrady of Porto Alegre, Brazil, Patricia (Daniel) Konrady of Palos Verdes, CA, Kimberly Konrady of Crown Point, IN, Julie Geerlings of Kentwood, MI. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two impending births of great grandchildren. John Ryan (Nicole and Austin) Konrady, Lindsay Konrady, Lauren (Bill) Moore, Evert Geerlings, Austin Geerlings and Conner Geerlings. She was preceded in death by her husband, the "love of her life," Indiana State Senator Emery L. Konrady; parents-Ithiel H. and Mary L. Stevens, and her brother Ralph L. Stevens. Patricia graduated from Gary Lew Wallace and Gary College, and was our life-long teacher. During WW II, Patricia worked at USS Gary Tube Works. She also took on another role as a civilian volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol in the City of Gary. Thus, making her part of the Greatest Generation. After the war years, Patricia wed Emery and they started their family in Gary. Her civic duty as a volunteer at Gary St. Mary Mercy Hospital allowed her to care for others. As well, Pat was very intuitive with babies and young children; she was a mother and teacher (aide) who understood the needs of others. She was a member at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and a long-standing fan of the Chicago White Sox and her loyal feline companion, Sox. Rev. Doug Mayer officiating, interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.

Thanks
Deb
