Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

RE: re: your message about Aaron Orr's wife
Hello,

You've got the wrong Aaron and the wrong Charlotte.

I sent you a message linked to Nelson Orr

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=20272132

At the time I sent this message, his wife Charlotte (1846-1926)
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Orr&GSiman=1&GScid=157266&GRid=20272130&

was linked to Aaron Orr, 50 years her senior.
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Orr&GSiman=1&GScid=157266&GRid=20272129&

I see now that you've unlinked them. So, I will send you a direct edit asking you to link Charlotte to her husband Nelson.

Meanwhile, you will see Nelson and Charlotte together in the 1870, 1880, 1900, and 1920 census records.

Thank you,

Janet Muff

RE: Hello,
Evergreen Hill Cemetery is located on Yuill Rd. I sent you a message because you had taken some photos for the cem. I thought you were near it. No Reuben is not listed. I have looked for other references to Evergreen cem. to see if he is listed and I haven''t found him. The information I have came from his death certificate. It says he is buried in Vanderbilt in Corinth twp. When I researched Evergreen was the only cem. I found. I have searched for Rueben for a long time. The rest of his family all lived and died in Detroit. Yet I couldn't find him. On his death cert. it said he was a woodsman. It gave no info on his family or even his age, only when he died. So I'm thinking if he is in evergreen he would be one of them graves that may have very little information? I don't know if any of this helps but its what I know.

Hello,
I have information that a family member is suppose to be buried in Evergreen Hill cem. His name is Reuben H. Meyer. He died June 27th 1901. He was born in 1848/49. I do not know much more than that. I was hoping you could look for him for me and let me know if he is there. Thank you.

updates
I have sent some automatic updates and they have not yet been completed. It is a relatively new way to update and perhaps you are unfamiliar with it. The tab is on your profile page in the upper right hand corner. It reads "Edits."

Thank you in advance,

Sheryl

Barrackman
While I appreciate the gesture of transferring the memorial to me, that was not my intention when I contacted you about the memorial.

While I am descended from the Barrackmans, I live far away from the persons in question, and am unable to visit the cemeteries in person. I just thought that since you originally added the memorial to FindAGrave, you probably would live in that general area, and maybe had a picture of the gravestone or some proof that Barbara was actually buried in the cemetery in question.

I really do need to find out if the Barbara Barrackman that might be buried in Marion County is the same one that's buried in Monongalia County. If they are indeed one and the same, that would mean there would be a duplicate listing, and I would have to delete the memorial that you sent me.

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you.
Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names / dates / places / plot #s.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section or do linking.
