Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.

We have been researching for a couple decades. Families: Buckmaster, Patterson, Wollam, all variations of Teatsorth, Falk/Faulk, Johnson, Lee, Collier, Eschbarger, Orr, Brinton, Thomas, Grau, Hyde, Case, all variations of Brandeberry, Richcrick (Reichenbach), Slote, Balken, Ulmstead, Flower, Dick, Graham, Hyatt, and many more.

Also a focus on those who have fought for and kept us free ~ our American veterans. We have a virtual cemetery for these units: 31st and 49th Ohio Infantry who fought during the Civil War.

RE: Allen Bogue
I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I gave info
on Death Certificate for James K. Bogue (James K. Polk Bogue) as was stated. I probably should have said birthplace of father Allen Bogue is error should be Otsego Co., New York. But I figured if you went back each generation
in Find A Grave from James K. Polk Bogue, to Allen Bogue, to his father Elijah Bogue to his grandfather James Bogue m. to Eunice Clark that people would pick up the error. Not so and will make corrections with (parenthesis) in future. Good point on your part. Thanks for pointing it out.

Allen Bogue
Hi drbuck:
Sorry I had to decline edit on Allen Bogue being born in Scotland. Source: Bogue and Allied Families by Virgil T. Bogue pg.55 #71 Elijah Bogue. (Buy from Amazon).
Bogue ancestry originally from France to Scotland.
Then came to Connecticut. Many various spellings of surname
(Stewart) Allen Bogue in book was brother of my
3rd great grandmother Keziah Bogue Lathrop wife
of Alfred Lathrop of Scio, Allegany Co., NY.
Allen and Keziah were the children of Elijah Bogue and Lucretia A. Loveridge of New Haddam, Middlesex Co., Conn., Otsego and Monroe Co., New York.
I am trying to find all the children of Elijah Bogue and Lucretia A. Loveridge and who they married. In above book it only had my 3rggmothers name as Keziah Bogue and not who she married. Her husband turned out to be Alfred Lathrop a Methodist Circuit Rider/farmer in Livingston and Allegany Co., NY. Their son Elijah B. Lathrop aka(middle name Bogue?) 1850 Federal Census Henderson Co., IL. m. Sarah A. Munson. Later his brother David K. Lathrop joined him in Henderson/Warren Co., IL.
David K. Lathrop fought in Civil War State of Il. and buried La Salle Co., IL.
Any questions feel free to contact me regarding the Bogue surname.

Thanks about the message about the DNA results on the Buckmaster side. To me that settles the question about her being 1/2 Pottawatomie. My yahoo account is going away I think, so I don't know if you have my other e-mail account starts as along. I don't remember the website that you had that I first stumbled onto when I first started working on the Buckmaster line. Your cousin, Andrea

I noticed the birthdate on the gravestone to be 10 June 1901 not 10 Jan 1901.
