Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.

We have been researching for a couple decades. Families: Buckmaster, Patterson, Wollam, all variations of Teatsorth, Falk/Faulk, Johnson, Lee, Collier, Eschbarger, Orr, Brinton, Thomas, Grau, Hyde, Case, all variations of Brandeberry, Richcrick (Reichenbach), Slote, Balken, Ulmstead, Flower, Dick, Graham, Hyatt, and many more.

Also a focus on those who have fought for and kept us free ~ our American veterans. We have a virtual cemetery for these units: 31st and 49th Ohio Infantry who fought during the Civil War.

RE: Lost Burial
My closet relative to Jackie would be my grandparents (Dale H Buckmaster and Claryce Minnie Buckmaster, both buried at Ft Howard in Green Bay, WI.) Jackie's may be a nickname for John. I was told he was buried in Pestigo,WI but don't know which of 3 cemeteries I believe. I was told he lived no longer than 18 months. He would've been born after Dale Jr (1947 but before Constance Lee (1950). Now that's what I remember is him be the 2nd of 7 but I suppose he could've been the 1st but I know those are the only 2 options.

I'd be so forever grateful if you could find any information on him as I can't seem to find any from relatives since both grandparents and others that would have known are also passed. But I still have yet to ask my uncle Dale Junior so maybe he might have something he's just very difficult to get a hold of and he distances himself from the family.

By any chance are you on that we may be able to connect on there? If not I could at least send you an invite to be able to look and make any possible changes to the tree if you have additional information. If that would be of interest to you please let me know as I will need your email address to allow you access.

Thank you so very much for all the work that you have done for so many people! I really wish records would've been much better back then so we could've had a better sense of where and who we came from and two worked so hard for it but sometimes that's where we get the most rewarding I guess right?

Lost Burial

I thought I received an email from you but can't find it, unless I'm imagining it ;-)

I'm looking for a young child my grandparents called Jackie, but not sure if that's his given name. All I know is he was buried in Peshitgo, WI and my gma told me he lived around 18 months due to a hole in his heart but that was many decades ago so he could've been younger.

Also curious in how we may be related. Where in the lineage we both are.

re- Related to James McCune
Hello! My name is John and you stated that you are related to the McCune's. I'm guessing that you are related to the Brandyberry's! I saw that James's brother, Lawrence, married a Brandyberry and one of her brothers served in the 89th with the McCunes. I am a member of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW)because James is my great great grandfather. To be a member, one has to be a male and be a direct descendent of a civil war veteran who served honorably. I was looking for pictures of James and any information about him. I don't know anything much about him except what is mentioned in the 89th history. The camp where I am a member (camp 1 in Kokomo) wants members to research their ancestor(s) and give a presentation about them. If you can help with anything that would be really great!
Thanks! John Budreau

Member of Buckmaster's

I am a member of the Buckmaster family and would be interested in speaking with you to know where we are to each other in the lineage of the family. And also if you would have information on a specific child the passed at a young age.

Clarrissa Brunson Sisson
I agree that Clarissa Brunson Sisson is a duplicate
memorial. Clarissa Sisson grave was moved from the Brunson -Sisson Cemetery to the Lockport Cemetery Sept 18 1998. The Brunson, Sission, and Spicer families were the graves that were moved on that date.

I will make a notation on my memorial page about your memorial page so that people will know that she was once buried in the family cemetery. If you would make a notation on your memorial page that the family was moved to Lockport Cemetery I think we will have solved this problem.

Let me know if you agree
