I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, but tend to spend most of my cemetery time in other states, especially Michigan. I am usually in Clare and Roger's City, Michigan at least once a year and so tend to peruse the cemeteries in those areas as they are both hubs for my family, living and deceased.|
Names on maternal side I research: Archbold, Cotton, Fonner, Snider, Snyder, Kampf, Von Gunten, McLean, Gibson, Glock, Beck, Rose, Zemko, Patrikar
Names on paternal side I research: Conley, Blodget(t), O'Neil, Hart, Dumsch, Holzschu
I am happy to transfer any memorial over that is not a relative of mine.

There are, at the present moment, two entries for her in the Riverside Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. I've asked the other contributor to delete their entry since it is a duplicate of mine and my entry was entered first.
You indicated that you could't find a record in the cemetery for anyone with the last name Chappell and you asked if there was a different spelling of the name the family might have used?
Her death record has her name as Louisa Chappell and burial in Riverside. However, there seems to be some confusion about where she actually is located. However, did you check the spelling as Chappel or Chapell?
It is possible that even though the death record says Riverside, the family made a decision to have her buried in another location after the certificate was filed. Just where that location might be will be revealed only when someone enters her name in another cemetery at some future date.
Thank you for looking in Riverside. Perhaps an obituary might be found which indicates exactly where but finding that obituary is going to take some further research. I see you don't live in Michigan, but only come there for a visit. But if you have some sources available to you in the meantime, that would be great.

Thanks for taking pictures of the markers for her husband and child. I'll have to call the cemetery and find out if she did have a marker.
I appreciate you going out to take the pictures.

Thank you ever so much for your time and effort in providing me with the picture of my cousin's headstone. I am so happy to have it. I just can't thank you enough.
Also, Aaron's wife Alice already has a memorial on findagrave and I knew about her. However, I didn't even know about another wife, Mildred. I looked to see if there was already a memorial on this site and did find a Mildred E Benner born 1899 and died July 3, 1974. Does this match the info on the photo you took of Mildred?
Thank you once again. You are the BEST!
